After a few hours of silence, the gummi ship entered the atmosphere of Hollow Bastion. Kawi was sitting down on a seat behind Shiro, unsure about himself, wanting to be free of this nightmare. He was shivering and the very thought of destroying a whole civilization scared him. He was a monster. His eyes were frightened and wide. He did not even notice that they have arrived on Hollow Bastion, as the ship landed next to a wrecked shop, which had a wizard's hat on top it but it was bent and shaggy. Shiro looked at Kawi, who have seemed to have lost his spirit. He sighed.
    "Let's go, Kawi."
He started to walk out but Kawi spoke.
    "It's useless, Shiro."
Shiro turned around with a grimace.
"It's not over. There is still hope."
"No, there isn't. I can feel my heart turning towards the darkness and whenever I try to release a world from the darkness, heartless appear and take it over again. We've lost, Shiro and I'm not sure I can face Masen."
Shiro walked over to him and held his shoulders.
"I'm fighting for my uncle. Who are you fighting for?"
Kawi thought for a moment and then knew the answer.
"I'm fighting for Nozomi and for her to see the light once more. I saw the look on her face when I awoke Deep Jungle from it's slumber and now I know, she isn't working for them. He was lying and if she was fighting for them, she didn't believe in it."
    Shiro nodded.
"So, come on. Let's get going."
They stepped out and walked through the streets of Hollow Bastion.

Nozomi sighed "Well we may as well get going." she said to Motx "We've already tried using the one in the abandoned wilderness once so Im sure it's still being watched. I guess that means we should try looking for them in the slums. That use to be the town before this place got taken over." she took off to the right down a bit of an unsteady looking set of stone steps. "You comming?" she called over her shoulder at Motx. She wasn't sure why she figured he would want to but at this point she figured she could trust him.

Shayde appeared next to Kage, Kage had been nearing Masen's office and Shayde walked up next to him out of the shadows as if he had been walking there by him this whole time and only barely became visible. "I would ask you how you did on your assignment, but judging by the looks of your hands, I would guess that it went over well." it was a bit impossible to tell if he was being sarcastic or not, as Shayde was always bizarre.

Crystle walked around the room, examaning the blue symbols that were glowing on the walls and up at the dome shaped ceiling. The room was small and round but it was extremely tall and, as far as Crystle could tell by the dim light, had a rounded ceiling. ok... so what now? she thought to herself. The room had absolutely no windows and the only door was locked and she could hear a few guards talking outside. Skilled or not, she wasn't take-on-three-or-four=highly- trained- soldiers- unarmed skilled. She would have to think of another way. The last thing she wanted to do was face Masen. The annoying one who captured her would have already told him about Tom's heart by now. But was there any other way.

Kage was surprised to see Shayde but didn't show it. "My my, a visit from the collector. I'm guessing you were the other darkness I sensed in that castle?" Kage picked up his pace to Masen's office. "If you want to hear about my mission then come along, you can hear it when I inform Lord Masen about it." Kage gave a quick knock on the door and then entered. "Lord Masen, I have brought you part of what you requested."

Masen was looking out a window, his back to Kage and Shayde. He turned around to face them. "And which one is that? And what of the other pieces I require? Or are we to just hope they come here to rescue what you have brought? No matter. If you captured one of the resistance members, then others will come to rescue them. Like moths to a flame. Kage, go and make sure the castle defenses are all in order."

Zack had been flying to Hollow Bastion for awhile. He wasn't the best of pilots but he could punch in some co-ordinates and let the auto pilot do most the work. While flying he had some time to think of a plan. He had come up with one he found suitable now all he needed was... The ships alarm sounded and Zack saw some ships come up on the radar. Damn Zack thought to himself. Within a minute his ship was surrounded. Thankfully the ships were human crews so they didn't begin firing immediately. "Resistance fighters, Give up now and we will let you live"

Sounds fair Zack thought to himself, could he trust they would be true to there word?. "Guess I don't have much of a choice." Zack said to himself. With that he shut the gummi ship down. Someone activated a tractor beam and Crystle's ship began moving directly into the Darks head quarters. Zack smiled to himself.

"Get out of there, and no funny business" A guard said as Zack climbed down the ramp. "Hand over your weapons and items." The same guy said. Zack pulled out his two swords, and his gun. "You know what to do with them. And put him in a cell." Zack was handcuffed and two guards began leading him deeper into the castle. "So what position do you hold in that 'resistance' of yours kid?" Zack ignored the question he was listening out for Crystle. One of the guards turned him a round and punched him in the stomach. "Answer me when I speak to you, you dog!" Zack began laughing as he sat there crumpled on his knees. "Get him in the damn cell" The second guard picked Zack up and brought him to a cell. "Hey" Zack said as the guard began walking away. The guard turned to face him. "Another resistance fighter was brought her earlier, were is she?" The guard looked around before saying something to him. "I can't see what harm it will be to tell you, I mean you can't do much damage in that cell of yours. She's in the deepest part of the fort. Masen will be dealing with her personally. There isn't any hope for that one" The guard laughed. "Then again, there isn't any hope for any of you" He said as he broke out into a loud obnoxious laugh and walked away.

"I will find her, and we will be leaving"

"I brought you the Keyblade master's heart. It is in the body of a girl, who I sent to our most secure cell. Kawi escaped with another girl to someplace unknown. We could track him or like you said, they will likely come to perform a rescue when they find out we have the girl." Kage then made a small bow. "I'll go deal with our possible security issues now." Kage turned and left, walking down the hall. He was going to head for the guard chambers when a man came running up.

"Kage, sir. We've managed to capture a new resistance fighter!"
Kage paused for a moment. This quickly? "Who and how?"
"We found his gummi ship on our scanners and quickly moved in and captured him. He's in cellblock C right now."
"Go report this to Lord Masen, and let him know I will be checking this prisoner personally." The man saluted Kage before rushing off to do as he was told. Kage then did as he said, he headed straight for cellblock C to see the new prisoner. It took him a few minutes but once there he let out a laugh at the sight of who it was. "You? To think you would be this foolish. What did you think to accomplish?"

Zack had been trying to figure out how he was going to escape. It looked almost impossible. He decided the first thing to do was to get himself out of his cuffs. He used a fire magic to heat up the links in hopes of just being able to simply break through them but it was taking longer than he would have hoped for. Then Zack heard some footsteps coming, he could only guess it was someone coming to see him.

"You? To think you would be this foolish. What did you think to accomplish?" Zack heard someone laugh at him. He had sat in the back of his cell as to try not to raise suspicion. Zack then recognized the man as the one he had seen at the castle. The one who had taken Crystle. "What did I hope to accomplish?" He repeated. "Well I planned on coming here destroying you and your leader and being home in time for supper." He mocked. Zack then stood up and walked closer to the cell door. "You know I will get out of here. And when I do I will make you pay for the attack on the castle"

Masen listened to the guard explain this new set of events. He turned to Shayde. "Take this guard and go to the captured woman. This new captured resistance member was on his way to rescue his friend. We need to hurry and extract the keyblader's heart soon. There is no room for failure."

    -------------------

Motx could feel something. He wasn't sure at first, but it felt like an emotion. It was in the direction of the castle. The emotion felt something of despair or hopelessness. "We should go to the castle Nozomi. If Kawi is coming to this world to fight Masen, then it would be better to wait for Kawi to come along." He lied. Motx was slightly more concerned with the fact that he could feel an emotion at the castle. He figured that his heart was there. That is the reason he suggested to go there.

"...I hope you see the sun
    someday in the darkness-"
Crystle whispered the song quietly to herself as she worked on the lock to the door. Of course, humming the song from her mom's jewelry box helped her feel calm in this situation. Her mother use to sing it to her to calm her down when they were on the run when she was still really little, before they had been captured and she became an orphan.

She now sang it softly to herself as she worked on undoing the lock for the door. She had a plan for the guards on the other side. It wasn't much of a plan but it was better than nothing. She would use magic to keep them busy while she ran. As she worked, Her hand accidentally slipped and two mechanisms from the door scratched against each other hard making a loud screeching sound.

"Keep it down in there!" Crystle heard one of the annoyed guards yell after hitting the door to the cell hard. The sound of both the yell and the fist on the door echoed through the cell loudly, an ugly sound that hurt Crystle's ears a bit.
"My apologies." Crystle shouted back at him sarcastically though she really didn't care whether or not she was annoying him. Actually if he was angry at her it might be easier for her to confuse him after she got out. "So what’s your name anyway?" she called through the door at the guard. Meanwhile she got back to work on the door lock. Just a minute more and she would have it messed up enough she could use a spell to break it.
"Keep quiet!" he ordered her again.
Crystle smiled a bit "Oh really mister tough soldier man. you're scared of me knowing even just your name? How brave of you."
There was silence on the other side of the door for a while "My name is sir to you and that’s all you need to know, light witch. Now be quiet. Masen only needs the heart from you, there would be no objection from me coming in there and cutting out your tongue."

"There’s no need for violence, Mr. Sir." she said, making a bit of a laugh before she said 'sir' as if for some reason he was being utterly ridiculous. "All I'm doing is showing curiosity."

"Your curiosity is going to make your next few minutes in there hell if you don’t shut up." the guard said, sounding very irritated. Crystle smiled, proud that she could have such influence over someone who was supposed to be so impartial. This may be more easy than she thought.
"Aright then if you're going to be so rude then I guess I'll have to do as you say." she said as she used an ice spell to freeze the lock. Then she stepped back, admiring her handiwork.

She heard the guard outside grumbling to himself and she about had to laugh. Was this a forgotten or just some human that they decided to keep around. He was acting so childish. "Just hang in there for some time more and we will see who the brave one is." he said to her, more calmly. He had a tone in his voice that made it obvious to Crystle that he was smiling. "Masen should be here for the keybladers heart any moment."

"Hmmm." Crystle said as she stepped back, summoning energy for a spell to break the lock: Lightning. "Well that does change things."

She used the spell then, a lightning bolt came from her hand and flew at the lock with a loud crash. The door shook on it's hinges but it remained where it was. At first, Crystle thought that her work had failed after all. But then, slowly, it fell. She stepped toward the door and through the smoke. At the other side of the door, the guard and two others were looking astonished. "Not that his invitation doesn't sound fun, but I should be going." she said.

The guards all three picked up their blades at once.

Crystle faced the three of them alone and weaponless. Now for the hard part...

    *************

Shayde nodded "Understood." he said with no expression on his face. He made no other sound as he walked from Masen's office and became one with the shadows once again.

    ************

Nozomi gave Motx an odd look but then she nodded. "Ok.. That makes sense I guess." she said. Though she did have her reasons to want to be at the castle too, she knew there were risks of being there. "Lets go quickly then. I Hope you know a way in that doesn't get us caught because I don’t." she said to Motx, trying to remember how to get there. She took off back up the steps. The castle was in dead center of this world. It wouldn't be too hard to find but to enter, that would be the tricky part.

    ***********

Crystle began to realize how bad of an idea this had been. She shot another fireball at the forgotten but he didn't seem that effected by it and neither did the other two. But she was already quite tired. She had overestimated herself and her ability to take on three powerful forgotten by herself. So now she only had one more option, escape. She ran off toward the door and the three captors anticipated this move. She felt something cold wrap around her wrist and pull her back. She turned around to whoever had grabbed her and directed a punch at their face. The person yelled and let her go to reach up to his already swelling nose but he would heal himself quickly, Crystle had to hurry to get away again so she turned back to the door. She didn’t get far before running headlong into another one of her captors. "Enough." he barked angrily. He grabbed her hand and pulled it up. Crystle hadn't been expecting this and so she was surprised when she was lifted off the ground by her wrist. "Ouch. Put me down shrek." she said sarcastically, kicking at him. He just laughed. "Hold still." he said, carrying her over to a desk near the broken cell door and setting her down by it.

"No." she said in response to his order and she poked him in the eye with her finger. He made an annoyed grunt but just grabbed her other hand and pinned them both against the top of the desk. "Someone get me a pair of cuffs." he called to the other two guards, ignoring Crystles attempts at getting lose from his grip.

Crystle's wrists hurt from how hard he was holding onto them. She had a feeling that was on purpose though out of some revenge for the black eye she had given him. The more she pulled against him, the tighter his hands became on her wrists so she eventually stopped pulling and gave up. Her escape plan had failed but at least she had the pleasure of making her time with these three hell. She considered it a final victory.

When one of the guards brought over a pair of weird looking handcuffs that were glowing red, yellow, green, and blue and tried to slip one of them over her wrist she bit him. It resulted in her getting a slap in return but she could see she had been the dealer of worse damage when she saw his hand bleeding where she had bit him so she only smiled and gave him a look that said 'ha'.

Without another word, the guard who had held on to her wrists finished locking the handcuffs over her wrists. She felt a weird sensation overcome her when they locked, like she was more tired and she couldn't think as clearly as before. She only guessed that they were some magic handcuffs that absorbed any spell she tried using making her unable to cast spells. Then, he took hold of her shoulder and pushed her toward her cell. She noticed it had fixed itself while they had been fighting. She would have been impressed by that if it wasn't the door that would keep her prisoner until Tom's and her own death.

She resisted the guard's pull by instead stepping backward. She raised an eyebrow at the guard, seeing how he would react. He reached out to take her wrist and she kicked his hand. "You stubborn..." he said angrily and he stepped forward again. This time Crystle kicked him again, at his head. She used some of Tom's power though she had originally apposed to doing so, to make the attack strong enough to knock him out. She was pleased with herself as she saw him fall to the ground unconscious.

She expected the other two guards to be right behind him but that didn't happen. Instead she heard something worse then both of the other two forgotten put together. The sound of a single pair of hands in applause. And a voice that she recognized "Well done Crystle. The powers of the keyblader suit you."

Crystle turned around to see she was alone, once again, with the bizarre figure from before. Weaponless, handcuffed, magic less, and pretty much hopeless. "It saddens me to see that I will have to rid you of them." he said softly as he walked farther into the room. Crystle backed away from him "Like hell you are." she challenged.

Shayde laughed "Now don’t be so hostile Crystle. I promise you wont feel a thing."

As he spoke, Crystle felt the 'void' take effect pinning her feet to the floor like it had done once before. She could see the dark energy wrap around her legs. "Let go." she said darkly "You cant have him. You have to have my consent or you are powerless."

Shayde smiled but he ignored her threats "You will not be killed in the process and as long as you are a good girl and let me do this the easy way, you will feel no pain. Now let's begin." he walked toward her and placed his hand under her chin lifting it up to look at his face. As he did so, he reached his other hand back behind his head to the tie of his blindfold and he unlaced it. A scream echoed through the halls as Crystle got her first glimpse at the eyes of Shayde. She wasn't sure if it was her own scream of something she had only just imagined. Nothing made sense anymore. His eyes were so strange, but horrifying. Almost addicting but painful to look at. She felt a dark presence enter her mind and through her body. Every memory she ever had, painful or happy, became not her own but his. He was searching every thought she had, every memory she had of a happy childhood and an unhappy life as a fugitive. It was a suffocating feeling. When at first glace at his eyes she felt nothing, she now faced panic.

Pain and suffocation filled her every thought as she tried to block him out before he could get to her heart and to Tom's. She tried closing her eyes but she couldn't move.

Stop resisting Crystle... She heard his mind echo through hers. You are harming yourself.

She didn't know where she was anymore. She couldn't think of anything but keeping Shayde out, her hate for Masen and his followers, and her need to protect the light that had trusted her. It was painful to think that way when every other part of her mind and body were taken over by Shayde, trying just as stubbornly as she was to find Tom's light and eject it from her. It would be so much easier to give up. Would this end then?

"No!" she shouted. She felt a warm feeling suddenly explode through her. A light power burst from her and ejected Shayde out of her mind. He fell over backwards. It was only then that Crystle managed to free herself once again enough to remember where she was.

Shayde stood up. He looked at Crystle but he didn't look annoyed like the other guards would have looked. He looked impressed, curious, and a bit mischievous. It unnerved Crystle a lot more than if he had actually looked mad. She found herself wishing he was mad just so that he would stop looking at her that way, like she was a toy.

Crystle found it hard to catch her breath. She was sure that battle of wits had gone on for hours when in reality it had been only a few Seconds. She had won against Shayde last time but she was sure she couldn't stand against him for very long if he were to try again...

"Very good, Crystle. It was a nice try. You and your friend work together well." he said as he walked over to her. “Now lets get this over with shall we.” Crystle closed her eyes and looked away but she braced herself for the fate she knew that was coming. ‘I’m sorry Tom…’ she thought, wondering if he understood her in the way he was.

Motx fell down to his knees as he ran. He clutched his chest. "This isn't right. I... Shouldn't feel this." He quickly stood up. He grabbed Nozomi's hand and started running again. "We need to hurry." As he ran, he opened up a portal ahead of them. They ran through it.

When they exited it, they were in the same room as Crystle and Shayde. Motx wasted no time in getting Shayde away from Crystle. "I bet you're feeling so damn magnificent, aren't you you bastard?" Motx spoke, gritting his teeth.

Crystle felt dizzy as soon as Shayde let her go this time. She felt him back away without her forcing him to do so and realized she must have lost. She felt angry at herself and at Shayde but also felt sorrow for having lost. She was too tired to make herself know what was really going on. Now that Tom's heart was gone, she wasn't needed anymore and she would probably die before she was awake anyway. She opened her eyes for a brief moment and saw a flash of red, a dark room, an angry looking blue haired man, and Shayde. The man was what really caught her attention. She has seen him before, his face and everything. It was Tom. By how upset he looked was Crystle was sure now of her failure. Tom was dismayed because she had lost, and now both of them would most likely die. Her hand reached up to her heart and that’s the last thing she remembered.

"Crystle?!" Nozomi yelled as she saw her friend when they exited the portal Motx had created. What on earth was the psycho doing to her!? Both Motx and Nozomi ran forward at once. Motx shoved Shayde away. Nozomi heard Motx shouting as she caught her friend before she could have fallen over. “Crys…” she said, fearing the worst. Crystle looked pale and there was a weird lost look in her eyes. She did have a few injuries but nothing that looked serious enough to kill her. She tried healing her anyway using cure magic but it didn’t make a lot of difference. “Crys if you can hear me please say something.” Nozomi was saying as she tried waving her hand in front of Crystle’s face to see if she got a reaction.

Crystle didn’t seem that responsive to Nozomi’s touch. She just sat there where Nozomi had set her against the wall, her eyes closed. In all honesty, she could hear Nozomi. She felt like she was underwater. Like if she breathed she would die, if she moved she would go nowhere, if she responded to Crystle she wouldn’t be heard. She was ok with that though.

Nozomi was sure Crystle was still alive though she wasn’t sure what was wrong with her but she was still breathing. She took off her jacket and put it around Crystle’s shoulders, noticing the blue streak in Crystle’s hair*. She wondered if it had always been there. She looked back at Motx and Shayde. She wondered where Kawi was and if Shayde had already found him too.

Shayde only smiled a bit “I feel no pride.” he said as he straightened himself up, replacing his blindfold across his eyes. “Though you should try not to let your emotions get the better of you when you’re near your heart. You make it obvious that he’s still alive… for now.” he pulled out his sword.

*- Tom's heart is still in Crystle as made known by the fact that she still has blue in her hair. She held out long enough for Nozomi and Motx to show up.

Motx had both of his katanas in his hands. "It doesn't matter if I proved my heart's exsistance. What does matter is that I will prove the end of yours. I'm going to destroy you and this world if I have to."

"Now let's not be too hasty Nobody." A voice echoed throught the room. Suddenly Masen appeared. "I would hate for Shayde to have to completely annihilate you." There was another figure standing by Masen. Masen turned to Nozomi. "So, you have finally returned. I, and a certain other being here, have been waiting for you. I believe you recognize this man?" He motioned towards the figure near him.

Nozomi looked at both men with a look that could only be described as loathing more than she had before been known to be capable of. She stood up but didn't move from Crystle's side she looked about ready to either leave the room or kill them particularly the man standing next to Masen.

"Nozomi." the man said. He was a very tall strong looking man with a stern face, red hair, voilet eyes, and wearing a long white coat.

    "Hello Kagi." she said.

"Not quite the 'hello' I would expect from my daughter but we'll work on that."

Nozomi looked away, "Whatever." she said flatly. She looked at Motx "I think we've overstayed our welcome."

Shayde smiled "On the contrary. I for one am very glad to see the both of you." he looked at Motx "And I would prefer not to kill you just as Masen would prefer me not to so do try keep those nasty emotions under control." he kept a firm grip on his sword but not at all angry, his face remained in that creepy smile he always has.

Nozomi couldn't help but feel that this situation was extremely awkward. Now she was here with her worst enemy, Motx was face to face with the man that caused him to lose his heart, Crystle was unconsious and possibly in critical condition, and of course Shayde with that always crazy grin on his face. She looked at the three dark figures, wondering what would happen next and pulling out her sword for the moment that she would need it which she expected would be very soon.

Kawi suddenly the sound of footsteps from around the corner. He peeked over and saw Nozomi and Motx facing three men; Shayde, Masen and a stranger. He was also alarmed, when he noticed Crystle unconscious. He looked over at Shiro.
"Get Nozomi and Crystle and get them out of here. I'll distract them."
A blue glow surfaced around Kawi's aura.
"But-" Shiro stuttered as Kawi summoned his keyblade and stepped infront of Nozomi.
"You will not harm them any further" the keyblader spoke with authority. His keyblade was shimmering with light.

"And the pawns return to their king." Masen grinned. "You're late Kawi. All of you are late. It is time all of you join me and complete my goals. With all of your help we can ensure peace in the world. No more people would need to sacrifice so much. All of you, Keyblade Master, Keyblade Wielder, Child of the Light, all of you can end this. Let us go. Your hearts are required to bring us into the next world."

Motx saw Kawi rush in. "You've got to be kidding me. Why the hell does everybody decide to bring themselves to Masen? Tom couldn't take him. Does this boy truly think he can. Damnit. Well, I need to get everybody out of here safely. How the hell do I do that. Some kind of light power would be helpful right now Tom."

As Motx though that, a wall of light was erected between the good guys and the villains.

Masen smirked as the light appeared. He walked towards it. He touched it, the light pushing him back. "So the master still has some power. Pity it isn't enough to stop me." Masen's body disintegrated.

"You'll get your answers later Nozomi. We need to leave, now." Motx said as he picked up Cystle. He hurried to the exit, grabbing Kawi's wrist as he passed him. "And you're coming with me. Masen is a snake. If you go after him now, you're just letting him bite you."

Darkness began collecting on the good guy side of the light. The darkness formed Masen's body. "You cannot escape. You are on my world. In the heart of the darkness." Masen's sword was in his hand. "No matter where you run, I will always find you." Masen walked towards the group as they ran away.

"I look forward to your attempt. But an attempt it will remain, because you cannot overcome the dark at it's heart. Nothing can." Kage turned to the guards posted outside. "Get more guards and make sure he doesn't leave his cell."
"We can't sir. They're all being summoned to a disturbance in the dungeon."
Kage didn't even wait but took off running. That was where he had the light girl taken and where Lord Masen was going to head. Whether he was there or not was not the issue. A disturbance in the dungeon meant only one thing, escape attempt. Kage was rushing quickly when he turned to a hallway and saw exactly what was going on. The girl that called herself Hope, Kawi, the girl with the Keybladers heart, and another two were rushing away from Lord Masen who was calmly following them. Kage drew out his sword and pressed a secret button on the wall next to him. Suddenly a large wall fromed behind him sealing the passage off.

"Nice to see you again Kawi, Hope. You can set the other girl down and surrender yourselves now. I can promise you that this will be over quickly."

Nozomi looked Kage and stepped forward "We will not do either but I will kill you if you dont step aside." she warned him, knowing she had almost lost against him last time it would not happen again. She would make sure of it. She knew that Masen, Shayde, and her father were not very far behind them and she would have faced her father in any other case than the situation they were in now where Kawi and her other friends were in danger. She pulled out her sword and pointed it at him. "Its up to you."

    Ventus Kickass Keyblader!

Heartless encircled the group, as they started to run. Suddenly Kawi's keyblade started to rattle out of his hands and on it's own accord, it plunged itself into the paved ground. Two powerful beams of darkness and light shot up to the skies. Suddenly a gargantual wall formed and spread across the universe, splitting it into two. It was shrouded in both dark and light energy and shadows formed from inside, both black and white. Kawi looked down and noticed that his keyblade has disappeared. It was no more...and he couldn't summon it.

    They sang in chorus to destiny's hymn;

"The beginning of the end has begun
There is a key that will be revealed
When the deed will need to be done
    The door will be sealed

The darkness and the light will fight in their final battles
One will prevail and one will fall
The door will be awakened by the three ancient castles
The light and the dark keybladers will duel during the final call."

Kawi had a shiver down his back. The wall now seperated the dwellers of light and dark but at the crossroads, they must meet for their final battle. Castle Oblivion, The World That Never Was and Ansem's castle brightened in a fierce light beam and joined together above the world of Hollow Bastion but now the two rivals must find the key, which is at the Crossroads. Who will take the right path and where are the crossroads? They also needed to find a doorway to it. There were 3. There was one in Hollow Bastion and one in The World That Never Was. They were both guarded by beings of twilight; the Unbirths.

The beings in the wall cried and pointed towards Ansem's castle. It was at the darkness' side. The light will have to go to The World That Never Was. Unbirths appeared around the heroes and slayed the heartless.

"GO TO THE WORLD THAT NEVER WAS! YOU WILL FIND A PASSAGE TO THE CROSSROADS!" A woman screamed who was in the wall. Kawi looked at the woman and remembered the long brown hair and sparkling blue eyes.
    "MUM!!!"
"Kawi, please go...now!!!" his mother told him with a tear.

Shiro took Kawi by the shoulders and they started running. Kawi was resistant but was stopped by Shiro, as he tried to turn back towards her. He missed her so dearly. The spirits were guarding either side from entering and they were forced to do this by Kingdom Hearts. It wanted to know who could prove themselves more. It has had enough of the constant imbalance of light and darkness. It wanted only one side now and to do that, it had to challenge the light and the darkness. Kingdom Hearts was going to make it harder for the light because of the amount of hearts it was given by the keyblade from Sora. It hated the light for that and now the light was suffering because the darkness had a head start.

"Kawi!" Nozomi called. She ran after him and took his arm "Kawi you cant." she said "Do what your mom says please. We need you." she said. She knew he probably wouldn't listen to her because of what Shayde said anyway but she had to at least hope he would trust her enough to turn back. They had to stop the darkness and if that song was speaking the truth the only way of doing that was finding this 'crossroad'.

"Nozomi." she heard a voice comand from the other side of the wall. She looked behind her to see her father standing there. "Come across." he said.

She ignored him "Kawi..." she said, hoping he would follow.

Shayde looked at the barrier between the light and the dark with an odd look on his face, like he wasn't sure what to make of it. Even his void couldn't cross it. "The dark side is the stronger half..." he said after a moment "Kingdom Hearts wants the power to remain in the favor of the night. How strange..." *he says this because of what Roxasblade said in his post about Kingdom Hearts giving the darkness an advantage*
He only shrugged and gave the light warriors a graceous smile "Farewell then light champions. We will meet again at the crossroads." he then took a step back, watching Masen and the light beings curious about what they would do next.

Crystle, who was recovering from her fatigue, stirred a little but didn't wake.

"Castle Oblivion. What fortune is this." Motx thought to himself. He picked up Crystle's body again and walked to Kawi. "We're going to Castle Oblivion. We are going to restore the light. To do that I need a keyblade and the master of Castle Oblivion. And you're the only physical keyblader left. You have no choice."

Masen watched this turn of events with much curiosity. "Unverse..... Vanitas's soul once again exsists. Kage, Shayde." Masen called them to him. Even if they could not reach him, he had the power to bring them to him. "The source of the Unverse is a powerful warrior. His soul still lingers. Absorb it and the Unverse become a part of you."
