You've never really gotten to know your neighbors. To you, they're all pretty creepy and quirky and loud and obnoxious and everything else negative. There's the land-lady, who is ridiculously determined to make your life miserable if you miss a payment; the guy on the floor below you who parties too much and keeps you up all night; the artsy girl who's always covered in paint and things of the like. You didn't necessarily know what you were getting into when you moved in, but you're not prepared to move just yet. You only have one rule: you don't date people in your apartment. It's not healthy. I mean, if it didn't work out, you'd see them everyday! You'd always run into each other, you'd see who comes and goes from their apartment, you'd be reminded of them everywhere you went. Home wouldn't be a safe place anymore. But, that's all about to change.

Every day is the same routine. You wake up, get dressed, make coffee, go to work. You aren't expecting anything to interrupt the flow of things. You walk out of your apartment, and head for the elevator; a few people on your floor and the floor above you are in or heading into the elevator. You nod half-heartedly to them all, and step inside. Just like every other day. Wrong!

You see, the maintenance in the building isn't super great. There have been problems in the past with the elevator, but you've only heard stories. You don't acknowledge it. Until... slam. There's a jolt in the elevator, and everyone trips and falls on each other and gets aggravated. You sigh, confused. The lights go out for a few seconds, then come back on and just flicker. You groan. Really? Can this be happening to you? Stuck in an elevator with all of the people you've never taken the time to get to know, not really wanted to get to know. No telling how long you'll be there, waiting for the repair people. May as well make the best of it. You get to talking with some of the people. It's at least three hours before someone arrives to fix the problem. By the time you're out, you've made at least a few new friends. Wait... wait. Friends?

This is a RP about the lives of the people in an apartment building in New York City... obviously. You'll be playing one of the residents, whether it be one of the people I described in the introduction or one of your own. Keep it creative, and keep it real. There isn't really a limit to how many characters you can play. Try to keep the gender ratio even. Thanks yooouuuu.

Personality: She's really sweet and kind, she likes to help people a lot with there problems since she's a psychiatrist.
Hobbies: She loves to write songs and play her guitar, she goes to work near a donut factory with her friends. She often look out the window and draw anything that around her. She works as a psychiatrist.

Personality: She's a very strict lady, she is ridiculously determined to make people life miserable if somebody misses a payment, she tell people to do many deeds around her house for a month. She's sweet though.
