  1. Leonardo yelled at Hooper. "Yeah, easier said than done!" He rolled over and pushed the Neo Shadow off of him. He turned tale and ran, following Hooper's directions. He slid over on the second turn and tripped slightly, hitting against the wall. He turned back to see nothing but shadow. He breathed out and walked to the right to find the dead end he was told about and pressed a marker on it. It pushed it and the wall shifted left, right, and pushed downward, leading deeper into the cavern. "You gotta be kidding me," he said, palm slapping his forehead and walked down. He stepped off the last step and noticed that his last step echoed louder than he had been before. "Woah . . . no way," he whispered.

He raised his keyblade higher and more light beamed from it. He was in a large room. He looked about and noted the painted walls of the room and in the center was a large pool of water leading to somewhere unknown. Ahead of him was a series of steps and a large stone door with a painted Heartless symbol. He clicked his microphone and his voice sounded kind of shaky, "Guys . . . you won't believe what I just found . . ."

He turned back to here the same rumbling noise and saw the same Neo Shadow followed by its lesser brothers, Shadows. "Shit, I've been followed. I'm going to engage the hostiles. Sorry Hooper." He raised his keyblade and began charging at the Heartless in front of him.

"I'LL NEVER JOIN YOU!" Kawi screamed, almost immediately. "Do you think that I would join you after you killed my parents, experimented on me and...." He looked at his ice white hands. "...turn me into a forgotten?"
He remembered a boy's voice, as he got the keyblade and throughout his memories. He sounded kind, brave and Kawi knew he was from the light. Kawi wanted to be light and he wanted to help save the innocent. At that moment, he knew he had great power. A voice rang out in his mind. It was the same voice. His voice.
"You are the one who will bring peace. You have to leave here and go to Disney Castle."
Suddenly beams of light from his right hand enthrilled the darkness that was holding him but as he did so, that darkness was sucked into his right hand. He hovered across the ground, as he learnt a new ability from it; Dark Grip. His eyes turned black and as he summoned the Kingdom Key keyblade, a snake like stream of darkness came out of the blade's end and constricted against Masen. Kawi ran.

Zack and Nozomi saw it all from the other side of the wall. When the boy got angry both of them were startled as something crashed against the wall they were close to. Zack guessed it was the desk Masen had been working at. As both of them stepped back at the same time, Zack nearly tripped over something he didn't realize was right behind him. He turned around and swore under his breath. It was a statue that looked like a star almost and it's soft orange glow suddenly turned vibrant blue. There was a loud humming sound and he and Nozomi saw small beams of light weave their way through the air, some through even the walls and through the strange doors that they had seen going in weird places. The elevators all began moving then, including the one he and Nozomi were standing on.

"What did you do!" Nozomi whispered, alarmed as the two of them were now moving toward a door to the far right of the dark shaft. Neither of them knew where it would lead but they didn't have any choice but to go with it, there was no way off of the elevator now.

"I dont know." Zack retorted as he turned on the device he was using to talk to Crystle "Crystle we may have run into trouble. Stay airborne but can you still see us on your screen?" Crystle's answer was yes. "You just turned on the elevator system. That could be a bad thing for you if anyone notices because then you're presence there will be obvious." he heard her say. As the elevator got through the door, Zack and Nozomi saw that they were outside. Still on the elevator which was being held up by a thin beam of light. They were still apparently hundreds of feet off of the ground near the roof of the castle. But the alarming thing about it was that they could see a lot more beams of light around, through, and even some leading under the castle in the water, and elevators moving on them as well. They had somehow activated every one of them through the entire castle. "Perfect." Zack said sarcastically as the elevator was now taking him and Nozomi straight up along the outside wall of the castle. He noticed a ledge just above them and looked at Nozomi "When I give the word, jump onto that." he said, pointing at it. He then counted in his head 'three...two...one.." each second they got closer and then Zack said "Now." The both of them jumped off of the moving elevator and onto the ledge.

The ledge that they were now on looked like a balcony and there was a door back to the castle a couple feet away from them. "Ladies first." he said to Nozomi, looking at the door. He wondered how long it would be until the place got crazy because of that boy and because of the random activation of machinery in the castle that hadn't been used for centuries.

(Click here if you are confused about what the elevators look like. They come in at about 2 minutes and 30 seconds into this video.)

"YAARGH!" Hooper yelled as he had followed Leo to the chambers, now slashing trought the many Heartless. "Boy, don't place too much trust on your blade..." he groaned as one Shadow tried to attack him from one side, merely scratching him. "... Trust in your strength and abilities!" He punched the Shadow with his left hand, making it disappear. He cleared the staircase of the remaining Heartless before lightning his pipe once again, coughing little after the fighting.

"Whew. Now boy, first things first. Take a good grip of this when next battle comes." He tossed a rusty longsword just before Leonardo's feet. "And tell me now, what do you think that you see?" He said, now leaning to the wall and smoking his pipe.

  5. Leonardo looked up at Hooper and said with a concerned look on his face. "Why did you just give me this when I already have a weapon?!" He looked back as the giant pool bubbled. After only a few moments, the water pushed outward, splashing on the stone floor and drenching Leo. He looked up to see a large Heartless looming over him. He stepped back once, looked at Hooper and began to run to the stone wall, but they closed down on them. "You have got to be kidding me."

"Grab on to that sword, since you'll be in lot more trouble if Zack and Nozomi get spotted. If you use Keyblade, it will surely caught Masen's and his minions attention, and that is the last thing that we want." Hooper said as he picked the sword and made Leonardo take it. "Keep it until now and don't use macigs. You're not even worthy as a peasant if you can't fight with your will and as you only rely on that." He said, pointing the Keyblade.

"Oh." Hooper said with his almost comical elderly voice when he "spotted" the large Heartless. "Well well now boy, this puts you to a test, as you're quite new with your nerve-training. Bring that what you seek from here, defeat the Heartless with only that sword and come back to me alive, and you have my trust in you son. If not, consider yourself as a coward and a recruit from now on." He said, laughing, coughing and while smoking before going in to the staircase. "I'm going back to the guard's position, and if you're back alive with that what you seek, good for you." He climbed up to the staircase, and shut the secret door which they came from in the first place, leaving Leonardo again into the dark halls.

  7. Leonardo gritted his teeth and tightened the grip on his Keyblade. "Oh, yeah?! I'll show you who's the coward, bring it on!!!" he declared running towards the Heartless, Keyblade dispelled. The monster swirled towards him and rushed at him with amazing speed. Leonardo rolled to the side and stabbed his newly gained sword into the Heartless, breaking it completely. "WHAT, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE A JOKE?!" He looked at the monster again with eyes of defiance and summoned Kingdom Key. "I don't give a damn, I'll take this thing down anyway I want!" He ran forward to the once again rushing Heartless. He leaped up, ready to strike but was cut by its sharp skin. "UGH!" he called out as the warm blood fell from his side. He landed on the ground, side bleeding and clothing ripped.

He huffed and puffed, ready for the next attack. The Heartless got on the ground and ran at him and unleashed a devastating flurry of claws and teeth. Leonardo rolled over and slid on the cold stone ground, bleeding out. You have got to be kidding me . . . Am I really about to die now?!

Crystle slowed the ship to a stop before she put it on Auto-Pilot to orbit the planet in the same pattern she had been driving it in except that she tilted it up just a little so it would be going in a different direction each time it came full circle around the planet, that would make it harder to detect on enemy guard ships. She then put down her headset and walked over to the grave that Kilet had opened "Dont go too far out there you two." she called after Hooper and Leo "I dont know how long the connection between the ship and the world will remain and if it closes while you're still out there you'll be stu-"

She was interrupted when the ships alarms started going off. She abruptly stopped talking and walked quickly back to the screen that showed the activity of the world beneath. She was a bit confused when she saw Zack and Nozomi (represented by two little white dots) were now outside the castle but still perfectly safe. Then she realized what the problem was as she looked outside the window. Heartless ships were there flying right toward them. “Shi-” she said as she quickly began to change their direction. She was sure the Heartless hadn’t seen them but a direct impact would definitely make it known that there was an unauthorized ship in the sky and after they were arrested, the secret of the Light Knights would be in Jeopardy.

Nozomi nodded once to Zack to indicate that she agreed and then she walked through the doorway. The inside of the castle didn’t look much different than the outside, dark, old looking, and she was sure it was not near the state that it was when it was first built even though there was evidence that someone had tried to rebuild the place. “This castle is bizarre.” she said to Zack curiously as she took a step forward, not really paying much attention to her surroundings. She had seen that most of the guards were in the lower areas of the castle, looking for that boy who got away from Masen. She surely hoped that boy would get away ok.

“I think I’ve been in this hall before…” she said as she looked around, taking a few cautious steps farther in “My dad took me and my mom here to stay for a little while once. I think he planned on moving us here permanently…” her voice trailed off as she remembered. She couldn’t have been any older than 8 or 9 years old at the time.

“Nozomi!” the little red haired girl was staring out the window. She had had a long day and she was tired and a little angry. Her father had taken her and her mother away from home, clear across the galaxy just so that they could meet the king of everything, Masen. She didn’t like that man very much. He seemed very cold just like her dad was. But she couldn’t figure him out. “Nozomi!” she heard her father say again. The little girl was interrupted from her train of thought and she looked over her shoulder to where her father stood “Don’t get sidetracked.” he said as he held his hand out to her “Come on this way, child. Your mother is waiting for us in the room upstairs. Nozomi sighed but she reluctantly took her father’s hand and he started walking forward. Nozomi guessed that holding hands with his daughter was supposed to look like they were a close family but it felt like the exact opposite for her. He was walking way too fast making it so she had to almost run to keep up and he was holding on to her hand very tightly. It hurt her hand. Did he not realize he was making her uncomfortable. “Daddy…” she said. “Hmm?” he said, not exactly paying attention. “How long are we going to be here?” He just frowned but he didn’t answer her. Nozomi had a feeling he knew she didn’t like it here and wanted to go back to Destiny Island… little did she know the next time she would go back to that Island she wouldn’t be alone and near death…

She was standing next to the very window now that she was way back then. She sighed “Welcome home, Nozomi.” she thought to herself before she remembered what she wanted from here. She looked over her shoulder at Zack “I think I left something here when I was little. It might not be this exact window though.” She reached down and pulled up the brick from the window sill. Inside there was a small wrinkled piece of paper. Her mom had given it to her the night she ran away and she had left it here because her mom told her to hide it and not read it until she knew it was the right time to. It was the last promise she ever made to her mother.

Just then the both of them heard footsteps down the hall. “Time to go.” Zack said to Nozomi he took a hold of her hand and pulled her once in the direction of the door before he let go and the two of them ran toward the door but they were too late. They ran smack into whoever was coming through the hall in the other direction. The impact sent Nozomi falling back onto her butt. “Oww..” she muttered rubbing her head. Then she looked over at the person they ran into and she was surprised. It was the same boy she had seen talking to Masen earlier. Or at least she thought he might be she didn’t get a very good view of him before but she could swear it was. She wasn’t sure weather or not they could trust him for sure but for now, he shared the same purpose as them; getting away from the castle without being seen. “You’re that boy…” she said out loud, feeling a bit dumb for saying that out loud. She stood up and looked at Zack “He looks like him doesn’t he?” she said, unsure if she was right. Mostly she was trying to decide whether or not they should trust him.

  9. Leonardo lay face down on the cold stone floor, mouth tasting nothing else but water and blood. He heard the large Heartless hiss over him and tried to get up, but couldn't move. "Shit . . . only a few months in here and I'm already about to die. Some soldier I am . . ." he looked at his keyblade that remained tightly gripped and began to think of his times before joining the Resistance. He watched helplessly as his friends, brothers, and even parents were brutally gunned down at an execution line within a concentration camp remembered the sinister smile on Masen's face. A tear of frustration trickled down hi face and he clenched his teeth, rasping for air. "No . . . I'm not done . . . not by a long shot!"

He slowly got up to his feet and looked at the Heartless seemingly astonished by his will to live. He swirled towards him and stopped looking at him with its yellow eyes. Even though he had his left eye covered with his own blood he looked at the Heartless with defiance and without fear. He pursed his lips together and welled up a blob of blood and spat into the face of the Heartless. It roared as it was temporarly blinded and Leonardo saw that as his chance. With his good arm, he raised his Keyblade and charged forward, dragging it as he went. The Heartless shot out its tail at him but missed, getting it stuck in the stone. Leo jumped on the tail of the Heartless and run up to its face and raised his keyblade. A red aura shined on it and he called out, "ZANTETSUKEN!!!"

A large blade of energy came from the keyblade and made devastating contact with the Heartless. It reared its head back and roared in pain. Leo channeled his energy in his right arm and held his keyblade out. Light glowed at the tip of the keyblade and beamed out, shooting multiple beams of light. "RAGNAROK!!!" The beams swirled up and then together and hit the heartless again.

He landed on his feet and collasped to his knees from the shock of the landing. The Heartless roared, shanking the foundations of the large chamber and stopped moving. It began to piece apart and when it was completely gone, a red heart floated and disappeared. Leonardo breathed heavily and balanced himself on his keyblade. He tapped the miraculously unbroken microphone and spoke, speak slurred and hard to understand, "I-I did it . . . I took out the Heartless Hooper. I'm hurt pretty bad and I don't think that there is a way out . . ." his transmission clicked off and fizzed out. "Wh-what?!"

Kawi, as he hit the girl head first, felt dizzy but then shook his head, returning to his normal state. He looked suspiciously at the girl, thinking she was about to attack him but as he looked deeper into her eyes, he could feel light emitting from her pupils. His purple and blue eyes stared away and looked down the hallway.
"We need to get out of here. I can feel you're from the light"
He started to run and he could hear them running behind.
“You’re that boy...he looks like him doesn’t he?”
Kawi found her comments confusing. Who did he look like? Did he look like the boy in his dreams and the boy who has been talking to him? Why did she say, "You're that boy..."
Kawi shook his head off the thoughts and sprinted down the black hallways. Suddenly shadow heartless appeared ahead of him. In response, Kawi summoned kingdom key and thrown his weapon like a boomerang and slashed them away into dust. He ran forwards and caught it. He continued forward, almost heading towards the exit, which was a few feet away.

Masen chuckled, not even resisting Kawi's actions. "Run. Run away. As fast as you can. You'll never escape me. Forgotten child. You have confirmed my suspicions. Disney Castle. The last stronghold. Be glad.... Until I personally go there. Disney Castle shall remain free." Masen took a deep breath, the darkness that was constricting him was then absorbed into him. Masen then began speaking. His voice carried throughout the castle. Everybody in the castle heard him. "The child has escaped. He is armed with a keyblade and is to be killed upon sight. Expect resistance. From him and denizens of the light."

Tom heard all the commotion. He heard Masen's voice, he heard something attack the heartless. And he sensed keyblade wielders on this world. He ran through a doorway, seeing three individuals going in the direction he came from. "So these are the people that alerted the castle. Figures." Tom thought to himself. He then saw the keyblade. "You..... There's another keyblade wielder? Oh, if only it was a time other than now." Tom stopped Kawi, placing his hand on Kawi's chest. "You.... Masen has imbued part of himself inside of you." Tom's hand glowed. The light purged Kawi of Masen's presence, but not of the rest of Kawi's darkness. "I see you're a Forgotten. If I see you again, I promise I'll work to fix the damage Masen's done." Several heartless appeared. Tom got into an offensive stance, his keyblade in his hand. "All of you, leave!" Tom's body sent out a burst of light, pusing Kawi, Nozomi, and Zack out of the area. He then formed a wall of light, preventing them from turning back. Several guards appeared behind the heartless. Tom charged to the group.

    -------------

Masen felt a piece of him get forcefully pulled out of Kawi. He felt some pain, but nothing Masen couldn't just brush off. "Only a Keyblade Master could do that." Masen started drawing more darkness to him. "Come and get me, Keyblade Master. Come and get me so I can finish you off. And cause all the knowledge of the keyblade to be lost forever."

Kawi turned back to Tom, wanting to help but was pushed back by the light barriers. He was a keyblader like him. He wanted to know the meaning of the keyblade. What was it? Who was the boy talking to him? What is the mission he must fulfill?....but beforehe could ask, the gates at the end of the hallway were starting to close. He dashed down the hallway, trying to reach the door in time.

Nozomi stared back at the boy who had helped them and at first she considered running back to help him. Using the light power she had inherited from her mother would have helped her get through the barrier he created to prevent her. Did he really have a keyblade? She hadn't ever seen one of those in her lifetime she thought they were all destroyed and even those that did have them didn't know how to use them. Her curiosity and stubborn attitude nearly made her ignore his request and Zack's orders. Her hand rested on the handle of her sword which was strapped across her back as she considered.

Crystle saw the disaster that was beginning to take hold on the ground. Darkness was spreading everywhere to keep control of the light that was obviously there now. "Zack you need to get out of there now!" she said through the microphone "You're outnumbered and there are heartless everywhere attracted to your hearts and whoever that man and boy are. Very strong heartless and way too many of them." she said, almost praying in her mind that they weren't going to let their pride keep them on that world. But the signal was blurry. "Zack! Zack can you hear me!?" she said but she couldn't get through. She couldn't hear if Zack was responding and the microphone kept cutting out. The alarms on the ship were going off again, the heartless ships had spotted them and were now firing at them. Crystle was doing well to avoid them. She bit her lip in frustration as the ship rattled and they were hit "Perfect." she said irritably as she looked back at Kilet "I don’t think they heard me. Please go down and find them I'll try to land this thing somewhere near the graveyard there. Hurry quickly and meet us there." she said already setting coordinates. She would just have to ignore the damage the ship took until they were not under attack.

Just then heartless came from the shadows and from the ground. Nobodies dropped from the ceiling and forgotten in their creature forms seemed to fade in from the air around them and even from some of the soldiers and people. They blocked Zack, Kawi, and Nozomi's way of getting out of the castle or even back in the direction of the keyblade master's barrier.

Nozomi was almost not believing what she was hearing but it only deepend her feeling like she should go back and help that man. If he really was the last keyblade weilder then it would harm the chance of the resistance bringing light back to the worlds forever. She almost did turn back then but something stopped her.

'Nozomi, dont go back. Save the boy and leave the man to fulfill the reason he came here. she looked around but neither Zack or Kawi seemed to have heard the voice. "Who are you?" she answered back looking around but she saw no one. It was then she realized that the voice was comming from the device on her ear that Zack had given her. 'Save the boy, Nozomi.' the voice said again from the earphone. 'You have a destiny that you dont undestand yet. Nozomi frowned but she couldn't answer as she was attacked by the heartless then. A shadow jumped at her from behind and she screamed as she felt it's claw gash into her back, cutting her deeply. She drew her sword and turned around, killing the heartless and a couple others that were near it. The voice on the earphone was gone and replaced by static. The signal must have died for some reason, she hoped Crystle was ok. She would have to ask her what was going on with the speaker... it must have been someone on the ship who had spoken to her. The earphone came back online then but it was Crystle's voice everyone heard "Please if you guys can hear me say something. If you have what you came for then meet me at the graveyard I"m going to land there. It's too dangerous. Kilets on his way to lead you to us... Zack can you hear me?"

She ran over to Kawi and killed the heartless that stood in his way. "Come with us." she told the boy urgently "I promise you have no reason to not trust us. We'll help you."

Kilet giggled eerily as he gave a nod to Crystle. "Kan-deeew!" He cackled, entering the tomb-passage on the ship. The moment he entered the graveyard, he activated his Ghostly gate and reached the castle within mere moments. A keen sense of perception told him that there'd be guards coming up quickly on his right - and indeed they did - so he fired several pumpkins in that general direction, setting alight the nameless mooks who dare challenge such a creep. Most of the guards were beginning to center in on the light group's position, so getting in was a much easier deal for him than the others; Also, the more guards he found, the closer he got.

"Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the most Gruesome one of all?" The Carver conjured, creating his body double. He immediately gave his double a few bones to pummel the guards ahead with as well as create a distraction. Finally, he reached the allied party, his double leading a portion of the incoming enemies away. He told them, "Must hurry - Kilet's dopple can't hold very long on his own! Cover your ears now!" before sucking in a large amount of air. Immediately after, he released it in a horrendous shriek, stunning the few guards that remained in their way.

The stone door opened in the end of the staircase, and Hooper arrived again to the scene, this time clapping his hand few times together. He saw the injured Leonardo, and slightly sighed. "Youngsters these days don't even know how to use the old blade... hmh." He still stared at Leonardo, and quickly after that gazed around the room. He then completely ignored Leonardo and disappeared to the dark room.

A moment later he returned and picked Leonardo to his shoulder. "Let's keep this between us two, and I've got something to show you back at the camp that I wanted you to find. That's my point in sending you down there, but just keep this to yourself. Now we've got to hurry to the graveyard so Crystle picks us up. Use your magics as I run in the halls, hmh?" He turned his back as one Neo Shadow had appeared and was trying to attack Leonardo by jumping into him. Hooper swung his large axe in the Neo's head, making it disappear into the darkness.

"Hold on now!" Hooper yelled as he began to run through the halls, when multiple Heartless' appeared and chased the two.

  16. Leonardo's body boobed lightly up and down with every step Hooper took. He raised his head slightly to see more Heartless coming at them. "These things just won't let up!" he thought to himself wearily. He weakly raised his keyblade and ball of flame began to charge up. The ball of flame got bigger and he whispered out, "Firaga . . ." the blame of flame shot out at the Heartless. Upon making contact, the ball of flame expolded and engulfed the Heartless, killing them.

Leo tried his very best to stay awake but then lowered his eyes and fell into unconsciousness.

Kawi looked straight at Nozomi's eyes and felt a pulse of light radiate hit him like waves of the ocean but it never stopped going back. Kawi smiled, feeling hope but he shook his head and turned to the exit, which was in the shape of a heart. It was two miles away and the colossal doors were barely visible. The surroundings were entirely black and you could not tell if any heartless were around until they attacked. He wanted to escape as soon as possible. As he thought this, his keyblade glew red. Suddenly his keyblade made his rise in the air and Kawi felt a pulse of energy coming from within the weapon. The thirteen year old held out his hand towards Nozomi.
"Take my hand. We're going to get out of here. Tell your friend to do the same"

Tom cut through the waves and waves of enemies, never slowing down. He would do various attacks, shooting random blasts of magic while slashing through anything that got too close. Before he realized it, he was standing in Masen's office. Masen was in the center of the room, staring at Tom. "So, you have finally come Keyblade Master. You have come to finally submit to the darkness."

"Never. I will never submit. As long as there is a drop of light left in this world, I will continue to fight."

"I see." Masen said. He held his hand out. Darkness formed, revealing Masen's massive sword. "In that case, I shall have to snuff out that last drop. After all, darkness conquers everything." Masen swung his sword at Tom.

"You'd better not die on me", Hooper said as they reached the surface behind the large doors. He left them open that if there would be a chance that Nozomi and the others would come back from that way. After they got to the graveyard, Hooper put Leon into the ground. He then tapped on his mic trying to see if it would work.

"Crystle! We're at the graveyard, when are you gonna pick us up?" He said and wated anxiously for the answer.

  20. Leonardo heard the comotion going on still. "Damn, why can't I just get up and do something?! They need my help!" Leonardo's hand began to slowly clench into a shaking fist on the ground and his eyes pressed together tighter even though they were closed. "Get up, get up, get up!" Immediately, he shot up next to Hooper, breathing heavily. He staggered back to get up, clothing torn and tattered and body still bleeding. "All right . . . I'm ready to go to work," he said with a thumbs-up.
