As the boy walked back to Mac Anu with a smile once more planted on his face, Nero and Alicia felt a huge morale boost going through them.
"Wow... we actually did something good." Nero said.
"Yeah... i won't let those AIDA get their way." Alicia replied. "And who knows.. maybe one day we will be able to save Them." she continued. Nero looked down.
"I have to."

As they walked further down the road of Mac Anu, Merlin checked his clock back in his room. He sighed and started typing a message.
"I'm gonna call it quits for tonight, sorry" Nero said.
"No problem, it's getting late." Alicia replied with understanding.
"Will i see you tommorow?"
"... Of course, dummy!" Alicia smiled. It had been long since Nero found another friend like Zeke.

Leonardo placed a somewhat depressed hand under his cheek as he looked out the window of the black cadillac was in. He thought back to the moment he had with Heather and looked at his balled up fist and opened it. In his fist lay a small flower, it was another gift from Heather before they had parted to go home. His phone buzzed in his his pocket and he looked at it.

It was a text message from Kamau. He sighed and replied to the message after reading it.

Zan was really beat up now, he didn't know how he got in this but it was bad. He had went into the bad part of MAC ANU, he was trying to walk but his leg was twisted something badly. He sat down and thought on what happened.

He was walking around with a map and found that there was some gold in town. So he went down there, it got dark, the town was kinda messed up here, and it seemed like people here where higher levels. He went inside a building, he went into the basment opened a door and a big chest was there. Inside there gold coins. He laughed."YES, I FOUND THE GOLD." He had a big bag of it too, it was mostly about 1000 in gold coins. He could buy alot with this. The bad thing was as he walked out, the whole street was looking at him. Then he understood why this was on the map and why there was so much, and why nobody came here. It was becasue after you got the gold, you had to fight a whole section of a town.

Leonardo opened the front door of his house and walked in, placing his jacket in the hands of a nearby butler and continued onward. His parents had recently left the country to go out on a much needed vacation, leaving him in the hands of their very well organized and trusted house staff. The staff had been with the family for many years since the family history had began. They help ease the sometimes overwhelming lonliness that had plauged Leonardo's life for the most part. But lately, he was finding less lonliness in the company of Heather. He thought back to their moment again and smiled to himself and started up the stairs to his room.

He logged onto "The World" and entered the Root Town of Mac Anu and started walking towards the canal when he was greeted by a sharp slap upside the head. He wheeled around to expect Kamau but only saw the two player killers he had seen when had just started playing the game.

The Flick Reaper smiled menacingly and spoke, "Hey there, n00b." Leo gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. "Damn it all. These guys just won't give it up!" They were about to approach him when they spotted three Crimson Knights who yelled at them. "YOU TWO STOP WHERE YOU ARE!!"

 

Level 17. 2/3

Karite was wandering around a field area. He had logged on about thirty minutes ago and just wanted to do something to clear his head. He couldn't get the dream out of his train of thought. He cut down the NPC monsters easily and nothing required some great concentration so he was stuck thinking about the dream. It was that thing that glitched me yet it looked like it wanted to kill me. But what was it? And why am I the things target?

 

As Wratih kept walking around the world, some enemies appeared around him to fight. He looked at them with cold, dark eyes and said with a dark voice "I'm not in the mood." He then ran at them with his dagger. He just kept slashing at them to death. Once they were all gone, he just kept walking on. A few minutes later, he was at Mac Anu. He walked through the gate of the city and kept on walking. He looked around and saw a lot of people walking through the streets. "Theres too many happy people."

 

Level 17 3/3 Level up! Now level 18.

As Karite returned to the root town, he noticed a familiar face. Nero. He figured maybe some party work could take his mind off the dream and started walking over to him. As he got close he noticed two things that seemed different. One was that Nero looked different, his entire appearance changed. The other was the lack of Zeke by his side. Karite also noticed some girl talking to him. Wonder what's up. As Karite reached them he just offered a small smile. "Hi."

The two player killers turned tail and ran off calling back to him, "Your ass is grass the next time we meet!" Leonardo calmed down and started back walking down the canal. When he was head in the back of the head again, he knew who it was. "Hey there, what's up Leo?" said a very jovial Kamau.

Leo rubbed his head and said, "Can you not do that again? I've been hit in the head enough today 0-|<"

 

As Wraith kept walking, he saw a merchant selling some stuff. He stopped and thought to himself "I should get some potions." He then walked over to the merchant and said "Give some potions please." The merchant looked at him and said "Sure." "No problem." He gave Wraith the potions as Wraith gave him gold. "Thank you sir.... Hey buddy. You ok?" Wraith looked at him and lied. "Yeah." "I am." He then walked away from the merchant and kept on walking through the city.

Leonardo and Kamau had been walking and talking for a few hours and stopped when Leonardo accidently bumped into a player (Wraith). He scratched his head and said shyly, "Oops, sorry about that man."

Kamau pointed to him and remarked, "Hey there! I've seen you before. We've never met but might as well start," he held out his hand and spoke, smiling and holding out his hand, "I'm Kamau and this is Leo, nice to meet you."

 

Wraith looked at him and said "Hey." "Sorry but I can't stay here for long." "Anyways, I'm Wraith." He then shook Kamau's hand and left. As he kept walking, he glanced back at them and said "Those two.....they seem happy."

Kyoshi layed on her bed in tears. "Why?" "Why does he have to feel that way?" "Why does he think he has to be alone in the darkness?" She looked up at the ceiling and said "I wonder..... how much sadness is he going through?"

Kamau and Leonardo watched as the boy walked away and warped out of Mac Anu. They looked at each other and shrugged, "Huh, he seemed pretty downed about something. Wonder what it is," Leo asked folding his arms.

Kamau shrugged and said, "Who knows? Maybe it's something serious. Oh well, it can't be helped."
"Yeah I guess you're right."

The two turned around when they heard a familiar voice, "Hey you guys! Sorry I kept you waiting!" called out Heather, running towards them, smiling. She stopped in front of them and bowed. He looked at Leo and her gaze diverted for a moment then back at him. "How are you Leo?" she asked gently.

Leo smiled kindly and spoke, "I'm fine. And you?"
"I'm doing great!"
Kamau drooped and looked away, "Aww, don't leave me out guys T^ T"

 

Then all of a sudden, Wraith fell to his knees. He was in pain, as Kira was at the same time. "What..... is this pain?" Kira fell to the floor as the pain got worse. "Whats....going on?!" He struggled to get up from the floor. As he got up, he sat in his chair and then collapsed, as Wraith did. He then let out one word. "Dad......"

Leo's body shook for a moment and Heather looked at him, "Hmm? Are you okay Leo?"

Leo nodded and said, "Yeah, I'm fine, I just felt a strange feeling run up my spine that's all."
"Okay . . . that's fine," she said looking at him with flirtatious eyes.
Leo's face flushed and he looked away and at Kamau, "Umm, erm, hey guys? What do you say we get started on that next field huh? I hear this one on our list is a great place to fight some heavy duty monsters."

"Hey, Karite.." Nero said modestly. "How.. have you been?". Alicia set up a confused face.
"Uh.. Alicia, this is Karite, an old 'friend' and me and... y'know." Nero's face saddened a bit. He quickly regained his cool and put his cap up again.

Who's this? Nero quickly thought to himself. Karite knows this guy?
"Another old friend of yours?" Alicia asked Nero.
"Not that i know of." Nero replied sheepishly and studied the new guy.
He looks strong though..

The three walked to a chaos gate and scrolled through the large array of words that would decide their next destination. Heather pointed to their list and said, "Hey guys, the next one on our list is Elusive, Mad, Sanctuary."

Kamau's eyes beamed with excitement, "Oh, sounds like some real fun!"
Leo nodded and said, "Yeah all right, let's do it!"
Nodding, Heather typed in the words and raised her hands, "Okay guys, let's go!"

The three were beamed up and taken to the destination. When they were beamed back down, they were in a large dessert and above them were floating mountains. A series of bridges lined the path to each mountain and at the very highest mountain was what seemed to be a large mouth. Leo clenched his fist and spoke with a determined voice, "Oh yeah, I can just feel the attitude from this place. LET'S DO THIS!!!" He pumped his fists into the air and ran off ahead of them.
