PLANNED PARENTHOOD PUSHES EXPLICIT, INTENSIVE SEX EDUCATION TO 10 YEAR OLDS IN SCHOOLS. - Smart Girl Politics

In the above article it is made clear that the abortion factory planned parenthood, is promoting to teach 10 year old kids about the pleasures of sex.

I have had it with this. These people must be stopped, they are corrupting the minds of young children now. We all know that this an attempt to encourage younger children to have sex so they can get pregnant so they can then go to planned parenthood to have an abortion.

This is an evil group, they make money off of killing the unborn and now they are trying to corrupt children. Planned Parenthood must be stopped.

How can anyone not be outraged at this?

BTW, I know I said I wouldn't be back in the debate section but I just had to post this cause this is crazy what planned parenthood is trying to do.

teaching kids these things is worst than wrong. i agree with SK's opinion on this and how they are evil. the people in the article are even teachin 5-YEAR-OLDS about MASTURBATION. something's wrong with these guys.

  3. GrandShadow

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

the only problem i see is the teaching the kids when they're too young. i didn't have a sex-ed class until i was thirteen, thats fine. but ten? too early. they need to push it back or drop the program.

I'm with Shadow's case - I wouldn't have a problem with the education if it started at thirteen or fourteen. But, ten? That's quite silly. Quite silly indeed.

Also, why the heck would they want to delve so much further into the 'pleasure' part? To be honest, they shouldn't be taught about THAT until they're much older.

10 is probably the appropriate age, girls would already be developing then and boys will just be starting. We don't live in the middle ages, sex isn't a sin. As long as they teach the dangers of sex etc, then nothing but good can come out of this. It is just going to be the same as being taught math at an earlier age, you just become smarter.

-____- I learned about the penis in the fifth grade. Whoo hoo. Then they start talking about the womb and stuff in the sixth grade but we just made a joke about it. Anyways, I find 10 a way too young experience about this. -_______- Why in the world would you want to teach your kid masterbation at the age of 5? The kid might even even up wanting to try it and not know what he or she is doing. This most likely will end up like the Acorn incident and I don't like this myself. Also, I didn't even know anything about dildoh and masterbation until last year during my freshman year and the kids started laughing at me. Whoo hoo.

With today children, people are having sex at a younger age. Instead of waiting in til some one turns 21, they are doing it at 12 years old. So, you know what I think? Go For It.

It is a good thing. Education can't go wrong..

-___________- NOOOOO HAVING SEX IN HIGH SCHOOL UNLESS PROTECTED!! Well, to me, I say none at all. I'm going to go all virgin and abstinence until college or after college anyways for a whole lot of reasons. Why in the world do you want to do it at twelve? Do you want to end up being a father at 13 or 14? I think not. I know a girl who gave birth to a baby last year and right now, she's a sophmore like me but she is still taking care of the baby. The father, I don't know but he's either a junior or a senior right now. Sex Education can go wrong and to me, I say that you shouldn't do anythign like this. I'm not saying this for religious reasons but I'm stating this for a fact.

Why the fuck would you teach your kids to masterbate?

And there was something else Avalantos said earlier.

That's not gonna stop people. Especially those who are drunk off their asses. Even if the stupidest people in existence knew every danger, that wouldn't stop them. And something along the lines of human nature.

In my religion sex is a sin unless done within marriage. But that is not my point.

    .

You are both Pedophiles if you support this. No way around it. This is just sick. Kids should be watching cartoons and stuff not learning about the pleasures of sex.

    @Moogle, for once we agree.

There you go, being judgmental. You might want to watch that, before it turns into flaming.

As much as some might not like to think about it, kids are having sex very young. Have you all not seen on the news the nine year old, and the eleven year old, who recently gave birth? Granted, these were probably not even consensual (even if you can consider a child that young to be able to consent, which I don't), so it's not quite the same thing. But pre teens are having sex, and if you wait until the kids are that age to start talking about it, it'll be too late to teach them to be smart about it. Though, I don't think at 5 or 10 that kids should be told everything.

And anyways, at least in my day, parents had to consent to the children attending the lectures about sex ed. If you don't want your kids to know, don't sign the permission slip and they can spend the time at the library.

And, if more parents did their jobs and taught their kids these things before it was too late, schools wouldn't feel the need to step in and do so themselves. But with the high teen pregnancy rate, someone needs to talk to these kids.

And how often do you think a 12 year old is going to stop and think about pregnancy and parenthood? And if they do, they're going to be thinking that that sort of thing only happens to other people, never themselves.

Please don't give me that. Look I don't care what someone's opinion is, teaching kids the pleasures of sex is wrong. That is something a pedophile does and you kno what if you think that is being judgemental, fine. But i'm am not apologizing for calling anyone who supports this a pedophile. I'm not, forget it.

And it's wrong, kids should not have sex. We need to do something to force kids not to have sex. Look no one can force and adult not to have sex, but anyone under 18 is a minor and I think we need to create something to force children not to have sex. That may sound cruel but this teenage pregnancy and stuff is ridiculous, if parents are not going to teach their kids not to have sex then kids are just going to have to be forced not to have sex.

Or we can create many different solutions to keep kids ignorant of sex at all until they are 18. Create tighter parental controls, don't have sex when kids are home, keep any form of knowledge of sex out of reach out of sight, including in movies, online, ect.

Parents need to be parents, schools have no right to teach kids about sex, that should be the job of the parent and kids should be forced to obey their parents cause they don't have the same rights as an adult they should be forced to obey their parents. But if that wont work society needs to keep kids ignorant of sex.

This is why I hate my generation, most teenagers are sex crazed, horny, disrespectfull, cruel, stupid creatures. I hate being a teenager myself, I can't wait to be an adult so I wont have to have the stigma of being a teenager. Honestly i'm ashamed of my generation, the majority of young people today are just mistakes.

I know that is mean but that's my opinion of my generation and I have the right to voice that opinion before anyone starts flamming me, it's my opinion and I have the right to say it.

And how exactly would we force kids not to have sex? Strap on some chastity belts? I don't disagree with you, that some of these kids are way too young and shouldn't be thinking about sex, but I don't think there is any way to stop them. If they have decided to do it, they will find a way. And I think they are better off having knowledge that will allow them to behave safely.

I agree that parents should behave like parents and teach their children these things. But I think some parents are uncomfortable with talking to their kids about sex, or are too unfit to care, and I think someone needs to step in to take over. And the schools are available. And I think this business of "forcing kids to obey their parents" is bullshit. How would you force a kid to do anything?

Good luck with that. I'm sure your children will enjoy being prisoners in their own home.

I blame society for ruining kids. Liberals went and made sex seem like a casual thing and it's their fault for the teenage pregnancies and everything. Society tries to teach kids they are smarter than their parents and it makes me so mad. Kids need to sit down and shut up and obey their parents.

I admit alot of parents are too afraid to teach their kids but I honestly don't understand why though.

Okay not that long ago if a kid disobeyed their parents the parents would spank the crap out of the kid, The problem with kids is that they don't fear punishments. "Spare the rod, spoil the child." Parents need to punish children and make them afraid to do bad stuff. It's not a bad thing to be afraid. It's what keeps us in line.

They will be my kids, they obey their parents. I don't believe in letting kids make their own choices, I believe they are too you and too stupid and parents know best so parents should make their children obey them. If more parents did that maybe their wouldn't be so many bad kids.

I agree that there seems to be a lack of discipline in a lot of cases. I don't think there is anything wrong with the occassional spanking (my parents did it), but I think there is a fear now that if you do it, some busybody (or your own kids) will turn you in to child services for abuse. So parents go the opposite way, and let their kids do whatever they want. But, I also think there are other ways to discipline that are just as effective, if not more, than spanking.

And perhaps I am misunderstanding/misinterpreting your post, but I think there is something very wrong when a child is afraid of his or her parents.

That's part of growing up. How will your child learn to be an adult who can depend on himself if he never has to make his own choices or think for himself?

I think kids would be worse, but that's my opinion.

And to tie this back in a little more with the topic, as I feel I'm straying a little, I honestly don't think that there would be a way to keep a child completely ignorant about sex, unless they really were basically a prisoner in their own home. Any outside friends would talk about it eventually. And even just driving down the road, they'd see suggestive billboards and things of that sort. I think trying to avoid the topic of sex would backfire and eventually make the child want to find out about it and try it even more.

Such as? What forms of punishment are more effective than spanking?

I mean they should fear the authority of their parents. You know like christians, we love God but we fear God cause we know he has authority over us. Same thing with parents, they should fear the authority of their parents but still love their parents.

There is a time that comes when they can make their own choices but that time is not when they are 10 years old. And even when they become teenagers they still should no be allowed to make some choices.

When my Dad was a kid his dad would spank him for disobeying him and my Dad turned out to be an honorable man. So I have an example to support my case.

Then we need to change society, we need society to not use sex in movies, on the internet, or anything else so sex is not promoted. Sex needs to be looked at as something bad to kids under a certian age and to older kids as something sacred and special between a married man and woman. That way children will grow up with a more morality view of sex an thus we reduce teen pregnancies and STD's.

I think spanking can reinforce the idea that it is okay to hit others. I think it is better to show the child what you want them to do (teach them what you expect), and reward them when they do it, rather than beat them when they do something wrong. I'd go into more detail, but this isn't really on topic. ^_^

One example. But really, I wasn't specifically addressing spanking, but rather your idea that parents should force their kids to obey them and not let them have any choices. I think that would turn out more rebellious behavior in the long run. Like I mentioned- I think keeping kids completely ignorant about sex would make them more curious and more likely to do it. And they wouldn't have knowledge from someone with sense (like a parent), but would just know whatever idiotic things their friends told them, so they'd be more likely to get pregnant or infected with something icky. IMO.

I don't think this is likely to happen.

Now I think that is a little feminist, I was spanked as I kid and it didn't make me want to hit anyone. I think that is a bit silly.

I agree kids should be rewarded when they do good though.

Why though. See I can't understand that though, I don't get why a kid would want to rebel in the first place. As a little kid I would throw a fit of course but as a teenager I have never smoked, I have drink, I have never had an urge to rebel so to me teenagers who rebel are stupid because I don't understand that mentality. Since you seem to have a better understanding of that, perhaps you could explain that mentality so that I may better debate this with you.

It will if christians and conservatives take a stand and put our ideas into Hollywood, the internet, ect.
