The three friends walked deeper and deeper into the dungeon until they came to an empty room. Inside the room seemed to be webbing, hanging and dangling. Kamau shrugged and joked saying, "Hahha, seems like no one wants to come here. Talk about cobwebs." But as they walked into the room, Heather stepped on a piece of webbing and her foot got stuck in it. "Ah, I-I can't get loose. It's new webbing!!!"

Leo took out his weapons and said, "Guys, don't look now but we got a whole hell of company!!!" Large spiders about four feet at the shoulder skirted towards them. The door behind them closed and locked from the outside. "Shit, we're trapped!" Leo said as he turned over to look at the situation slowly unfolding. Kamau's chakrams came into view and he cut the webbing, freeing Heather. "No problem, just some bugs that need to be squashed!!!" he called out running towards them.

 

Adept Rouge Level 7 1/3

Gerik thought about it for a moment. "Hmm... Well, I guess that this riddle is asking which chest is the real one. Each of the chests is on a different color. But only one of them is the right one. If we guess the wrong one, I suppose we'll have to try again. But the problem is guessing which color is the right one. If this is going off of the colors of light, then white is the right color because white light is all the colors combined. But if it was going off of drawing colors, then black would be the right one. But there is no black color here."

"Yeah... But does that mean that none of the chests are the real one? That last line just makes me think that its none of them, because colors aren't 'ruled' by a specific one, right?" He paused after a moment and looked over the chests again, "Because when you think about it black is the absence of all color, just like white is the combination - like you said.

"If this were about switching the chests around this would be easier. That riddle practically tells you where to put them."

Zan was at a stand still, the man with the hammer was strong and big, he was very good with blocking his attacks, twice already had Zan been hit with that hammer, one more time and he was dead."Ok, look, your big and strong, how bout we just forget how i killed your boys and i can go. Cool?" Zan said knowing the answer, but he was answered with a sound but an attack, his hammer turned into a giant spike only it was still in a hammer looking kinda form. He ran at him and nearly smashed his spike into him, but Zan dodged and slashed down. Didn't really work for he was blocked again, he tried a low magic attack a thunder blot, but it didn't work. He tried fire but still he brushed it off. Zan ran at him and did a flurry of his speed and strength attacks, but the thug blocked them all, but he got a cut on his ribs. Zan stopped when he saw this the thug looked at it and became mad, he raised his spike and thunder clashed with it and slammed on Zan, but he was blocking it with all of his power, but how long could he.

Her face saddened a bit and she looked down at the ground. She seemed to hold back something.
"Hmph.. Then we have something in common.." Nero claimed. The girl was shocked as she heard the words. "Y-You too?" she said quickly.
"Yes.. That girl, her name is Sukiko.." Nero continued. "She and her brother are heartless Pkérs who hunt on players. They are of a very high level.."
"But... you defeated them!" The girl said.
".. I guess i got off lucky?" Nero said with a confused face.

The three stood back-to-back after the room was cleared of the once living giant spiders. They eased up slightly and they looked at each other. "Jeez," Kamau began, "no wonder no one comes here, it's really hard fighting those little, well big, buggers!" Leonardo and looked at each other for a moment then looked away. Leonardo put his weapons away and stood at total ease, "Well, no sense of sticking around here, let's try and find a way out of here."

The others put away their weapons and followed. They scattered and searched the walls, brushing away the newly burnt and ashed webs to maybe find some sort of secret door leading to a treasure and also --- their way out. However, as they did this something dripped in the middle of the floor and the three looked at each other. "What the hell is going on?"

Another drop fell and they all looked up. Above them, drolling and baring its hideous fangs, a gargantuan black widow crawled above them. "Ho-ly . . . shit." Kamau said blankly as the monster screeched and jumped down upon them. They fell back and rolled avoiding the slamming legs of the spider. They all slide back to the locked door and looked at their enemy. Leonardo took out his weapons. "WHO CARES HOW BIG YOU ARE?! I'LL TEAR YOU APART!!!"

 

Karite hesitated for a second. He wasn't one for talking but this was important. Time for a real conversation... "What happened to my character? Why do I have thios new super weapon that doesn't give any exp.? How did I get an Avatar? What exactly are the Epitaph users? I know a little but nothing mentions any of this. And I want answers."

Zan was going to die, anybody could see it, he was on one knee and was trying to block the thugs attack, his sword had already cracked, and it was new. That's when he got mad, he got up and used all his strength a big burst of it and fired a giant slash of energy. It broke his spike and Zan attacked him and cut him in half. He felt good, he did it, he saw that the person they where picking on had fled. So Zan picked up the money that he got and left. His sword was ok now he thought, so he logged off. It was a day of nothing fun.

 

Heather stayed back and chanted a support spell. Instantly her party members' critical hit ratio skyrocketed. "Let's bring the fight to it!" she shouted enthuiastically.
"No need for it, we just brought it to him!" Kamau said with a large grin. He stepped to the side and rolled over. He flipped forward and threw his chakrams. They bounced the monsters head and it roared in rage. It moved its leg up and caught Kamau in the stomach. He flew over to the wall and bounced off, taking heavy damage.

"Crap," Leonardo cursed as he ran at the monster. It slid forward and attemtped to slam down on him. He dodged and jumped on its leg and ran to the top of its face. He looked into its blazing eyes and slashed at his opponent's face, causing great damage. It roared in pain and spat out a purple liquid at him. He fell back down and looked at his status. "No way, I'm posioned!!!"

 

Kira sat down in his chair as he logged back on. Yui was standing there waiting for him. SHe looked at him and said "Whats wrong?" "You look sad." Wraith looked at her and said calmly "My father died." She stood there in shock. She looked at him in the eyes and said "Oh Wraith." "I'm sorry." "You must be going through a hard time." Wraith coldly looked at her and said "Yeah." "I am." He then walked away from her as he headed towards Mac Anu. Yui then shouted "Where are you going?" Wraith stopped and looked back at her. "I'm going away from reality."

Ken was in bed, he was tired as ever, he needed to get in his Z"s. He was lucky too, not just three minutes after he got in bed, his brother came in to check on him. He must have though he was in the World, good thing he thought different. He had some god dreams, he was with his family, they where on a picnic and just having fun, he was younger almost, maybe six, for his father was there. He was happy, but his alarm went off, and he jumped out of bed. He was mad, he forgot to shut that off, it was only five in the morning, but oh well he was up now.

 

Yui was shocked by what he said. She looked at him and said "What do you mean?" Wraith kept looking at her with empty eyes. "I'm never logging off.... no matter what." He then kept started walking away again. Yui was so shocked and sad by what he said. Wraith!" She yelled out to him. "What are you going to do here?" "Just walk by yourself?" "Are you really willing to fall into loneliness?" He stopped and looked back at her. "I was there from the very beginning." "Actually, in my world, lonliness is the only kind of emotion." Yui stood there with a sad look on her face. "Wraith......."

Ken went down to the kitchen, he was hungry kinda, and was bored, he made some cereal and looked up a movie on Netflicks, he found a good one, The Goonies. It was funny and just what he needed. By the time they had gotten underground, Ken was fast asleep, he woke up to see his mom. She had been waiting it seemed like. She look sad too."What's wrong mom, you ok?" Ken asked, She looked at him with big eyes about to cry. "Your brother, Danny, he...ran away for some reason." She said, trying to hold back tears. She was about to cry" No, he didn't he knows most of the bills have to be payed now, he wouldn't just leave." Ken said, but his mother had a note in her hands and he felt his chest hurt he became sad and mad, his only brother had left him and his mom, just like his dad had.

Nero and the girl both went silent for a little while. They seemed to think about what to do next.
"..But i'm not just gonna let them get away with it." Nero started again. "Those bastards will pay, no matter what.." The girl looked at him with big eyes. Suddenly her face became confident and determined.
"Nero... let's do it together." she smiled

Heather ran over to Leonardo and leaned over him. He wasn't able to move his character, he had a double status problem: poisoned and paralysed. Heather looked up from the incapacitated Leonardo and called out to Kamau, "Kamau, I have purify him, you'll have to deal with him. Kamau slowly got up staggering as he went up to look at the monster. It roared violently at him and raised its body up.

Kamau looked down and spoke, a scroll hovered next to him and he whispered, "Fine . . . you can bark all you want . . ." his body began to be outlined by flames, "BUT I'M NOT THAT EASY TO BEAT!!!" He spun his chakrams and rushed in with great speed. The monster anticipated this move and slammed its leg down. "Humph!" he grunted and moved to the side. He jumped back and zoomed forward, spun, and cut the monster in the face. "Yeah, that something for you to think about!!!"

 

Level 17 1/3

"I think the game is glitched and we should report this stuff to CC corp. Especially these AIDA things. Its all a little too big or dangerous to be part of the game. Now I don't know about you but if that's all you got then I'm going to go and try to find someone else with info. You've got my e-mail, message me if you find something out." Karite turned and headed out the Chaos Gate leaving Sion there by himself.

Kamau slid back after blocking the attack from the spider. It leaned back and shot out sticky webbing at him. He swung out, chakrams flaming and cut the webs. They hit the wall and started to sizzle. The wall began to drip and Kamau thought Huh . . . acid webbing? Looks like I need to be a lot more careful. The spider jumped into the air and fell down. Kamau rolled to the side, jumped on the wall and began to run on its side.

The spider hissed venom at him and shot, but only hit the walls as Kamau continued to run. The spider skittered onto the wall and followed him. Kamau grinned wildly and his chakrams flamed again. He jumped forward, legs lifting off the wall and rotated in the air. The spider got to him and raised its legs, ready to strike. It slammed down hard, missing and cracking the wall. Kamau noted it and threw the chakrams at the spider and landed on the floor, chakrams snapping back into his hands.

I can't do any damage from the top part, it's too strong. I'll have to hit it from the bottom. He glanced over at Heather and Leo and saw that she was slowly making progress. "Shit, if I go down, she won't be much of a match to this thing. I need to make it quick!" The spider climbed to the ceiling and jumped down with great force. Kamau moved back as the spider got its legs stuck. He ran forward, chakrams blazing. The spider attacked with venom spits but it missed. He rolled forward and moved under its body. He slashed savagely at the underbelly of the monster and it wailed in agony as its HP dropped to zero.

The monster let out on final death cry and dematerialzed. Kamau laid back and sighed with relief. He got up and looked at his friends. As Leo's status was restored, Heather lifted his head up and smiled, "Welcome back," she said with a wink. Leo looked away for a moment and got up, "Thank you so much. Kamau . . . nice ass whooping you gave to that thing."
"Yeah, thanks."
"So," he began, "how are we gonna get out of here?" Immediately as he said this, light shined in from a small glyph on the ground. The three looked at each other and then at each other and smiled. They slowly stepped on the glyph and stood there.

Yellow light gleamed from the glyph, restoring them fully and sent them back to Mac Anu were they said their good byes and logged out.

Lukas got out of bed. What was he to do? His best friend had just committed his life to, "The World" and would never see him again. "Hugo, stop this, I care about you! You are my only friend." "That's ok, if you play, "The World", we can meet up!" AGH! Lukas recalled his earlier talk with Hugo, only to result in,"The World" advertisements that Hugo usually gave. He wouldn't even listen to the name Hugo, instead he wanted, Venyothas, his In-Game name. Lukas absolutely hated that game and everything about it. He would not stop. He would find a way to stop, "The World". But first, he would have to know what he was up against...
