Hunters

Ghualo looked down at the floor, unstrapping himself from the bed, it had been a while since he held an actual gun and killed something, besides the soldiers earlier that day.
Ghualo wasn't sure if he could trust this man, even though he did save his life. Still, if he got the chance, Ghualo would have to make an escape.

"On one condition," Ghualo began, eyeing an AA-12 across the room, "I request a shotgun if I am to handle a firearm..."

 

Will grinned, grabbing the dusty gun. He tossed it to the creature. "Excellent choice.." He said, looking at the creature. "And I swear I won't do anything to attack or capture you. Like I said before, we are not the legion." He loaded his gun and looked at the door. "So, shall we be off?" He asked, holding the door open for the creature.

 

((OOC: I have to go to school, see you when I get back at 2:30, I might be able to squeeze in one last post before I go))

Ghualo looked down at the gun, loading a barrel in and cocking it back.
He then looked up at the man and nodded, "I'm ready." He smirked.

He followed the man out of the room, taking one last glance at the bed he was strapped on to a minute ago.
As they entered the streets, Ghualo looked at the man again.

"So, is this some sort of reconnaissance mission?"

 

Zain woke up not feeling to happy with himself. Around him sirens were blaring which wasn't really helping with his monster head ache. "God. Did i really just use desperado because i was angry?" He asked. His head throbbed painfully telling him yes he had. "Great." He groaned, and tried to stand up. His vision blanked out, and a loud squeal started in his ears almost knocking him out cold again. "Shit!" He almost shouted. When it faded, he managed to glimpse a clock. "That explains it. I didn't stay out for the full eight hours. I'm off by a half hour. Damn, i can't even take off like this." He staggered over to a wall, and tried to figure out what the alarm was for. "Sounds like the nuclear attack alarm. Wow, that's almost ancient. Gotta get to my ship."
He staggered outside, some how avoiding the crush of personnel evacuating. He looked at his ship, and almost cried for joy. "Great, now i just... got... to..." He fell to the ground, and his body stopped responding to his brain. "No, not now." He grunted. "Gotta... escape." He tried to move his arms, but it was no good. "Looks like my body won't move anymore." He said in a strained voice. He suddenly remembered his emergency beacon. "Yeah. I just," He managed to move his fingers to his belt, then pushed a button. The button activated his emergency beacon, which transmitted to Wolfs team with his name and location. "Thank god." He gasped, then blacked out.

 

Will shook his head. "No, this is a rescue mission." He said to the creature. "Besides, what is your name?" He asked, shooting down two legion soldiers. He then keyed his comm link. "On our way to the hanger to get a dropship to pick you up sir,then Zain, then to the cruiser. Over and out." He said, mindlessly reloading his gun.

 

Vlad then called in. "Wolf." "What is going on?" "Why can't I reach Lync?" "Why did I get a report about a battle between you and Butsuchiru?" "Tell me whats going on!" He waited for Wolf to reply. "Tell me..... what happened to Lync." "Is he ok?" "Did he get hurt?" Please Wolf." "Tell me." "I need to know."

 

Ghualo listened to the man talk on his com-link, and wondered what was going on, and what the man would need him to do to help. When the man paused and asked Ghaulo his name, he had a shortage of words and felt that names were titles that you gave to someone you were familiar with.

"You first." Ghualo edged on as they entered the ship hanger.

 

Will sat in the pilot's chair and said. "My name is William. Will for short." He fired up the engines and slammed the throttle, making the ship shoot out of the hanger like a bullet. He sped towards Wolf's position, swerving between legion ships with expert timing. He pulled the ship into the crater and opened the hatch. "Everyone in!" He roared to his friends.

 

Vlad stood there quietly. Then he said to Wolf "Ok." "I'll keep you to that then." "Also, I want files on Butsuchiru." "We need to find out about him." "Vlad out." He then turned off his communicator and slammed on to his desk. "Lync...... It was our fault for not stopping him." "Please forgive us."

 

Butsuchiru leaned backwards and looked at his brothers old file. After reading it over and over again, he noticed that the edge of it was slightly up from the rest of the document. He peeled it back and over the "deceased" label showed a bright red, "unknown status." His eyes widened in pure shock and his heart thumped powerfully in his chest. "My brother . . . is still alive?"

 

As the ship landed, Ghualo moved up to the seat next to the cockpit, "Should I take a turret in the back?" He asked, almost forgetting to introduce himself. Ghualo was too busy thinking about what was going on and what was going to happen.

Thoughts crossed his mind, thoughts such as, should I run, or should I stay...

 

As Butsuchiru got off of his fighter he walked into the Shadow Claw's Headquarters. A soldier came up to him but he was brutally pushed back with devastating force, killing him. His brother was alive and somewhere and he didn't give a damn who he had to slaughter as long as he found his brother and together reaped his revenge on the human race for making them what they are.

 

Butsuchiru reluctantly took a knee and lowered his head and spoke, "Yes . . . they are proceeding with their Tactical Nuclear Bombing of that area . . . however, the Hunters had escaped. You told us to retrieve the mineral . . . we have it in our possession and are awaiting your future orders."

Meanwhile at an infirmary, Reo laid back on an operation table as the morning shined brighter. Outside, cirrus clouds floated with great ease as Reo looked outside. His injuries were quickly healing the head medic had told him but he was told to stay in his bed until he was aloud to leave the infirmary. His door clicked and Reo looked to see Heza walking in in her unifrom. Her campaign ribbons and mnedals shined brightly and she walked over to him with her hands behind her back and standing up straight. He sat down next to his bed and looked at him for a few moments before speaking.

"Reonarudo . . . I mean, Reo. H-how are you?" she asked. He could sense a slight tremor in her voice and he looked at her puzzled. "Yes Heza? Or Vice Admiral Heza?"

She blushed slightly and lost her overly tense posture and sighed, "I have to go back to the D.M.C. and get back as Vice Admiral to the D.M.C.A.F. (Defenders.Military.Corps.Astral.Fleet) and continue a campaign in the outter rim of the galaxy . . . I'll be gone for a very long time and I don't know when I'll be able to see you aga--"

Reo had placed a warm hand on her cold palms and spoke, "It's your duty to stay in space as Vice Admiral and mine to keep eliminating Shadow Claw Legion Threats as a D.M.C.E.S.F. Hunter. I understand," he finished with a smile. She brought out a box and placed it on the small desk next to him and placed a lotus flower in the small water bowl meant for flowers of that type. She leaned over to kiss him on the forehead but controlled herself and whispered, "Thank you, Reo." She stood back up straight and turned on her heel walking out of the room and closing the door.

Reo stared at the window and watched as an eagle perched itself on a nearby tree. He stared at it and remembered what the sergeant of the elite D.M.C.S.F. academy told him as he got his medal. "Whether you like it or not . . . you're more of an eagle than you know Reo. You fight to protect what it precious to you . . . When a soldier does this for his country, planet, or galaxy, makes him undefeatable in the battlefield and makes him stronger."

He watched the strong bird fly off into the sky and looked away and thought to himself. "Then if I'm an Eagle in the sky . . . Then I'm a Lion on the ground."

 

Lync came up to Grahl and started detransform. He was in his normal form. He bowed and said "Lord Grahl." "I am here to serve you." "I shall search the ruins if you want." "Your wish my lord, is my command." He stood there bowing before Grahl as if he was the king and he was his finest knight in armor, wait for his command.
