"The World"

It was lunch time and Kira was eating a bag of chips. As he was eating alone, again, he kept thinking about The World. "Just two more hours and then I can play online again." He then sighed and said "Thats too long to wait." "I want to go meet Zan and hang out right now." He then noticed that his chip bag was empty so he went to go throw it away. After that, he started walking back to class as the bell ranged. While walking, he saw a girl looking lonely sitting in the hall. He thought to himself "Who is that?"

 

"Fear?" Karite did a quick check of his status again and then a check of Zeke's. "Equal level. No fear." Karite readied his scythe as Zeke loaded his guns. As he did, he thought about his previous thoughts on a fight with Zeke. Range, thats what this battle comes down to. We both have it but his is more flexable. My best is about two or three feet away. His can be anywhere from one to five. He could easily slip past my guard and close combat me to death. Or he could stay back and slowly whittle me down to nothing. Judging from our party experience, he's more likely to do the close range idea meaning I'm going to be the one backing up. His hits are faster, but mine are stronger. I've just gotta keep him in my range, without falling into his. Once Zeke finished loading his guns, Karite charged. He came up to a couple feet away from him before swinging his scythe at Zeke's head.

 

ADEPT ROUGE LVL4 (3/3)


Zan was walking, he saw three little level two monsters, he ran at them withis blade and in one quick slcie he took out two, the next ran away but he threw his blade like a spear killing it. They didn't give money but they did give xp. This time he came to a cave, in there was a big chest, he looked inside and found a potion and 100 coins. Now he had 200 all together. He walked away and there was a man standing there, he had a sychte in his hands, with it he didn't say a thing to Zan but attacked. Zan knew what this was. Somehting at his level couldn't fight. A PKer.

Zeke leaned back a few inches, as the scythe raged an inch before his face, cutting one of his hairs off. " Hmm.. You' ll pay." he said and spin-lunged at Karite's arm with his gunblade, making him flinch. Now he had a second to reload. He quickly did and backflipped forwards, over karite, slipping behind him, ready for the next attack.

 

As he passes her, they quickly glanced at eachother and Kira quickly left.

Adept Rouge Blade Brandier lever 3 exp 5

After two hours, Kira quickly ran home and went all the way up to his room.He got on his chari and brought out his MD2. He then logged onto the world and started playing. He was in Mac Anu and started searching around. "I wonder if Yui is here?" As he searched around, he saw a merchant's stand with some potions. He remembered the gold he won and said "Thats right." "I have a lot of money now." He took out the bag and bought some potions. Once he was done buying, he went to go do battle some monsters. "I need to do something to pass some time."

 

Karite hadn't expected him to simply lean back to dodge the attack and as such had let his arm carry farther than he should of because Zeke had attacked to make him drop his guard. But what Zeke did next, Karite had expected. As lealpt over him, Karite spun his scythe back up behind him to slice Zeke. I know your moves from when we worked together, but you don't know mine. I use different strategies against NPCs and players, far to different to even tell if they were from the same player.

Zeke quickly hooked his platinum doom with the scythe and flew with it, as it missed him and went on. When he was next to Karite, he let go and slided behind him once more, this time firing his gunblade in a burst at his back.
"Who said i would only use a gun at long-range?"

 

Level up! Now level 10!

Karite stumbled as the shots hit his back but quickly spun himself around to face his foe. I was right, he is going to play this close. Damn, it's easier for me to close in on a foe than it is to retreat. But maybe... I could do both... Karite, not wanting to let his inspiration leave him, charged at Zeke, when he got near he feigned an attack and instead rolled behind him a few feet and unleashed an attack. "Wicked Strike."

 

Wraith started walking around a large cave. that he remembered that Zan told him yesterday. "He said that there was a lot of treasure here." "Since theres treasure, theres monsteres to protect it." He brought out his broadsword to arm himself as he continued furthering into the cave. "This should be fun."

 

Admin - Nero: Level 11! . and Zeke: Level 10!

Zeke quickly lunged at Karite as he attacked. Karite then rolled behind him to unleash a cruel attack.
"What the?!-" Zeke muttered as he was wickedly impaled by the attack. Ruben stomped his table behind his computer. " Damn!"
Zeke stopped to catch a breath for a second but then spoke: "Okay, enough! Unleash bayonette-mode!" he said and pushed a trigger in his gunblade, unleashing a slim but devestating bayonette blade on top of his regular. He backed off for a second, but then spun to Karite's side again, ready to strike.

 

Karite was a little too smug about his finally landing a hit as he barely had time to raise up his scythe to block the hit. Damn, gotta stay focused. Save any celabrating for later, or there might not be anything to celebrate! Karite quickly disengaged and looked at the small blades not protruding from Zekes' guns. As he did, he noticed that the attack was a little harder then the one that he was hit with. I see, that bayonette mode must increase attack power as well as give him a close range attack. But such a boost has to have a downside, but what? I don't have time for a status check, he's likely to rip me apart by then. I'll just have to figure it out by attacking and defending. Karite quickly twirled his scythe above his head before using the momentum to swing to down at Zeke's legs.

 

Admin - Nero: Level 11. 1/3 Exp . and Zeke: Level 10. 1/3 Exp

Zeke blocked the twirling attack by putting his bayonette diagonally while on the ground.
"That won't work, boy!" he said mockingly. Be ready.. "Rraaaaawgh!"
A little slower now, he charged a magnificent attack and hurled it right to Karite's skull vertically.

Adept Rouge Blade Brandier lvl 5(1/3)

Right before the PKer had sliced him with his scythe, Zan blocked the attack but the force that with with the attack knocked him away. He got up and ran, he wasn't bout to die today. He was running for his life but the Pker was faster, he tried slice him again but Zan put up a small magic shield that was broken but gave him enough time to move to only get his arm cut. He had to get away. Then it happened, pain shot in his back, a gaint slash knocked him down, he wasn't going to die, but he couldn't run neither. He looked up at the Pker and closed his eyes.

Dan was running or more like flying as fast as he could, he had to get to his brother before he was dead. He saw his brother running, he was smart, he knew a fight he couldn't win. He started to conujer up a attack powerful enough to take out the Pker, He had a ball of red swirling majic in his hands. He flew to the Pker and his brother.
"GET AWAY FROM HIM! FLAME FEST!" Dan shouted out, from the ball of magic small little flames shot out at him hitting him but he soon moved from the attack. "Get out of this, he's mine." The PKer said. "NO, HE'S MY LITTLE BROTHER!" This time the same fire ball came out but this time while the little flames shot out, he threw the ball as well. Hitting him in his chest, The PKer got up and his scythe turned black, Dan was tired from those two attacks, but this time he made magic flames go around his hands. "Lets do this then." Dan said.

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 4 (3/3 xp)

"I don't know... Sounds kind of ... unbelievable if you ask me. Do you know how much coding and time that would all take? You'd have to be someone really experienced to do that kind of stuff. Either that or have a very, very good team of coders." Smiling a little, Salvatore, smacked Gerik on the shoulder in a friendly fashion, "Hey I think we make one hell of a team. Come on, lets go get us some treasure!" Chuckling to himself, Salvatore headed off towards the Beast Temple.

It was there, before the towering ancient monument, that Salvatore stopped and eyed the structure with awe. "I swear, they'll never stop amazing me..." This was his first time actually playing on a Beast Temple level. All his other area selections had just been field battles and one beat the boss that he never completed. He stepped closer to examine the texture of the buildings outside. He placed one hand against it's cold stone wall and closed his eyes. Imagining what it would feel like in reality. Sometimes I would give everything to live here. Even for an hour. Turning back to face Gerik he said confidently, "Lets finish this."

 

Adept rouge lvl 5(2/3)

Zan opened his eyes and saw somebody fighting the PKer, he didn't know who it was really. They where to far for him to here what they where saying, but he could see who was winning.

Dan saw his brother was up, he ran at the Pker with the flames over his hands and stabbed him in his chest. Then it was over. He walked over to Zan but not close enough for him to see him, He just looked at him.

Zan saw him but didn't know what to do, "Thanks for saving me, and dont worry, i'll be okay." Zan yelled. then the man was gone. Zan got up and was walking, about to use a potion, and said out loud. "I'm too weak."

 

Twin Blade Level 4 3/3 XP

Reo moved down the field at a great pace. He sweated from head to toe. His heart thumped in his chest as his breathe became hard and heavy, but he still moved on with the willpower of a lion. He siderolled the soccer ball at his feet and passed it over to his teammate. His teammate nutmegged another teammate and rocekted the ball at Reo from the top corner. He caught it with his instep, bopping it up and unleashing a grand kick that soared into the upper corner of the net and placed deep into it. "Oh yeah Reo, Upper 90!!!"

His maroo-colored penny teammates gathered around him patting him on the back. He smiled lightly and placed his hands on his knees, heaving in air. His muscles relaxed and he began to walk toward the Freshman Coach and spotted in front of him. "Well . . . it seems that all of you have been busting your chops for this. Head to the showers and get a good rest." As his teammamtes took off, Reo stayed behind to put things away. "Reo! Over here!" Reo ran over to his coach asap and looked up at him.

"Yeah coach?"

"You've been showing a helluvalot of effort on and off the field. You work hard and you play hard . . . the other coaches and I have been monitoring you for some time. We've come to an agreement . . . We're placing you as 1st Captain of the Varsity squad."

Reo's heart skipped so many beats he thought he was going to die. The Freshman Forward is getting promoted to 1st Captain of Varsity?"

 

As Wraith walked around, he heard some scufflin in the distance. He raised his sword and said "Whos there?" Then out of the darkness appeared Yui. "Yui." She turned to him and blushed. "Wraith." "What are you doing here?" Wraith then brought down his sword and said "I'm here to find some treasure." "Are you doing the same thing?" She nodded and said "I could use some more training also so I came here to work on my spells." "Hey." "Lets walk together." Wraith nodded and then joined her side. They then started walking down through the cave's deeper entrances.

 

Karite wasn't going to be able to dodge, his only option was to attack the attack. However his special Wicked Strike, was a ground special. But... Karite thought, I guess this would be the best time to try out my new special. Karite jumped into the air and spun his scythe. "Lotus Flower." The attack hit Zeke's attack and there was a large explosion. From the smoke, Karite dropped down. Not a hit point lost,I'm lucky that worked. Karite grinned and charged at Zeke, launching a Wicked Strike at his chest.

 

Adept Rouge Level Up. Level 4 0/3

Gerik nodded and headed down the stairs. He opened up the door, entering the main room of the Beast Temple. At the end of the hall, Gerik saw a statue behind a treasure chest. The statue was of one of the gods in 'The World'. Gerik kicked open the treasure chest. Inside was the weakest heavy armor, a Rough Armor. Gerik already had one since he used heavy armor. He turned to Salvatore. "Could you use this? I don't have much of a use for it since I already have one equipped."

Sigh, this is taking rather quite long. I thought he'd be dead by now!
As Karite launched the attack at him, Zeke's eyes widened, observing his quick movements.
Finally in the last second, he pulled himself back and quickly launched himself towards Karite again. His gunblade hooked with the scythe once more, stopping the attack and pointing the gun at his face. "Yes..."
