Admin -- Nero: Level 7. 1/3 Exp + Zeke: Level 6. 1/3 Exp

A faint clapping could be heard behind Karite. "Well, lookie what you found!". Zeke said as he stood there. Nero came running out the chaos gate. "Zeke! What the F !" he shouted. When he started to look around his eye caught Karite's sight. "What, him again? Why all that effort for him?" he asked.
"I wanted to see who was stronger.." Zeke replied coldly.
"Hmm? You against him?" Nero asked. Zeke nodded slowly.
"Fine.. i'll close the friggin' gate" Nero said and walked back to the chaos gate. He stuck his lance in the ground before it, and flames fiercely erupted up.
"Karite, you better watch yourself. He ain't kidding." he said.

 

Twin Blade Level 2 2/3 XP

Reo had great time with the new players he had just meet but felt a little, "left out" in The World. After pondering this, he finally realized that he still hadn't really done any fighting with monsters. He went around asking N.P.C.'s for starter players areas where he could get a good work out and still have fun at the same time. After getting the areas, he went to a Chaos Gate at the North side of the Root Area and entered it. He stepped out into a large Savannah scattered with multiple revolving gates that he knew would carry monsters in them. No one else was in them expect him. "Guess people just like to fight in this game huh? No duh smart one."

 

Admin -- Nero: Level 7. 2/3 Exp + Zeke: Level 6. 2/3 Exp

Nero leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. He looked up as fires kept blocking the chaos gate. Zeke unsheathed his gunblade and started to slowly walk around Karite. "We've fought together, and won. But now i wanna see who's the stronger one. You and me, one on one." he said with an intimidating tone. "Let's see you lose that self-confident cool!" Zeke was always quite and laid-back. But when he set his heart to something, he went for it by all means neccesary. He was a complicated guy.
"You better run, kid." Nero said from the shadows. Zeke charged his gunblade and swiftly charged at Karite, with an evil look planted on his face.

 

Twin Blade Level 2 3/3 XP

Reo ducked out of the way of a monsters attack and ran forward at it. "Hiyah!" he bellowed out as he cut down into it, killing it and gaining its experience. Reo panted slowly and looked around the field. He was in there for two hours and he had already cleared 3/4 of the field for monsters. He had gained a lot of experience and killed so many monsters. He looked at the last two portals and readied himself. The first portal opened and towering over him by five feet was an elemental golem called, "Pyro, Level 3." The one next to it opened and out came another golem called, "Cyro, Level 3."

Reo stepped back once and readied his weapons. All of his stats where still kept in equal harmony and he grinned in anticipation, "Awesome, my first Boss Battle," he thought as he clicked over them and the title read, "Boss." The two spun around and took out their weapons. Pyro wielded a large blade that seemed too heavy for its own good while Cyro wielded and giant lance. Reo clicked on his spells and pressed on a spell that would make him faster or a few minutes. "All right you two let's do this!"

Karite had just finished his mission and was heading back to the Chaos Gate when Nero and Zeke walked out. When Nero blocked the Gate and Zeke pulled out his weapons, Karite knew what was happening. A PKer wants me gone. That mission together was just to scout my skill. Karite pulled out his weapon and took a close look at his surroundings. From what he saw, he wouldn't be able to escape until he knocked Nero's spear out of the way. Before he could think of more Zeke charged him. "Wicked Strike." Karite quickly launched the attack at Zeke, hoping to make him back off.

 

ADEPT ROUGE LVL 4(1/3XP)

Ken was walking home, more like running, but this time he was running from some guys that he needed to pay back. He dashed around the corner and he could see his house from there, like before nobody home. So he stopped and pulled out his sling shot. He had bought a year ago and had learned how to use it pretty good. He picked up a rock and shot it one of the boys, missing but letting them know he wasn't playing around. The didn't care, so he picked up another one and this time it his the boys nose. "No yall get or next it will be a eye." Ken told them, so with there leaders nose most likely broken, they ran. Ken walked inside and up to his room. He about to go into the world and this time. Longer than before.

 

Admin - Nero: Level 8! . and Zeke: Level 7!

Zeke diagonally spinned above him to avoid the attack, and slipped around behind Karite to find balance again. He quickly dashed back at him and planted his gunblade against Karite's back, and fiercely pushed him, making him fly across the room against the ground. He slowly put his blade on his shoulder and let out a small sigh.
"Keep up, Kar" he smiled evily

 

Karite dug his scythe into the ground to slow himself before he crashed into the wall. Once he stopped he started runnig for the Chaos Gate in front of him. "Fool." As he ran to the gate he he used his scythe's range to attack the spear and knock it loose to stop the fires. Once he reached the gates he turned around. "Zeke zero, Karite one." And he jumped back to the root town.

 

Twin Blade Level 3 0/3 XP

Reo skidded backwards and raised up his weapons again. "Man, this is tough!" he thought and then looked at the chest of his opponents and noticed that they had the elemental symbol that they were opposite to. Pyro had the symbol for water and Cyro had the symbol for fire. "Of course, it makes sense. Man, I really need to start paying more attention." After dodging a raging fireball from Pyro, he spun his two weapons around and clashed them together, causing a beam to form. "Eat this, Hydro Shot!" A torrent of water flew from the beam and dealt so much damage to Pyro, it was stunned and didn't move. "Now is my chance!" Reo lunged in at Pyro and his weapons glowed. "Cross Slash!" he called out and attacked Pyro with a devastating combo that depleted the rest of its Hit Points.

Reo landed on his feet and watched as Pyro shook and disappeared, dying. "OH YEAH!" Reo shouted and swung one of his weapons in the air. But as he did this, he felt a cold chill run up his leg. Cyro loomed in front of him and slashed him with his lance, causing damage. "Agh!" Reo grunted as he was knocked back and rolled around on the ground. He looked at his leg and saw that it was encased in ice. He stood up staggeringly and watched Cyro closely. "Man, he got me pretty good . . . But I can get him even better," he said to himself. Reo dived to the side, dodging an ice crystal, "Okay . . . maybe not heh," he said as Cyro loomed directly over him charging an attack.

Reo slid on his back and spun around his weapons and clashed them again, making a beam form. "This is it! Fire Storm!" A small tornado of flame shot out of his weapons at the monster, hitting it directly in the chest. The monster fell to the ground, downed. The ice that encased his leg busted off, sending small ice shards everywhere. Reo grinned and charged at the monster, bringing up his glowing blades again and called out, "Sonic Break!" He zoomed in with great speed and appeared behind him and continued the same maneuver. He did this six more times and after he was done with the sixth, he went again, but this time, a sort of barrier appeared in front of him and emitted sound. The monster wailed in pain at the sound and Reo made contact. The Monster screamed its death cry and disappeared, killed.

Reo looked around the field and saw nothing else. He threw up his weapon in the air and caught it, slamming it down into the ground. He began to jump up and down cheering. "Yes, yes, yes, yes, I did it, I did it!" As he did this, light shined around him and the words, "Level Up!" showed up over his character. Reo spun in his chair and shouted, "I am so awesome w00t! w00t!"

Admin - Nero: Level 8. 1/3 Exp . and Zeke: Level 7. 1/3 Exp

"Wraaaaaaagh!!" Zeke screamed out as shot a charged blast into the gate. "No!" he started running after him into the root town. "Forget it, Zeke. He's gone." Nero said carefully.
"Never! He ain't gone, yet!" Zeke replied angrily and ran into the chaos gate.
"Sigh..." Nero grabbed his lance out of the ground and walked after him.

 

As Wraith looked at the pedestal, Yui looked at him and said "Hey Wraith." "you ok?" Wraith turned to her and said "Yeah." "Don't worry." As he said that, they felt the earth trembling. He looked around and said "What is that?" As he looked around, something was in the sky. It was a giant demon -like creature. It looked down at Wraith and Yui and then said ""Leave." "Or my minion will kill you." Yui then cried out "its a event battle!" Wraith then said "Wait." "We can't kill it." Yui looked at him and said "Don't worry." "I heard about this battle." "He only sends his minion to fight us." "I think we can handle him." Wraith then said "I hope you're right." He then pulled out his broadsword and waited for this so called minion.

 

Level up! Now level 7!

When Karite reached the root town, he first went and saved his game. He was going to go and do another mission when he saw Zeke and Nero rush out of the gate. "Crap." Karite knew he wasn't going to be able to go anywhere without them so he did the only thing available to him in the root town, he logged out.

Back in the real world, Johnny put down his headset and stood up from his chair. He figured he'd have to wait a bit before logging back in so that Zeke and Nero would hopefully be gone. At least that's what he thought, until he saw the time. "Crap!" He quickly grabbed his stuff and ran out the door. He'd have to skip breakfest and sleep later, he was late for school. Apparently he had been playing for the whole night.

 

Twin Blade Level 3 1/3 XP

Reo walked back into the Root Area, Mac Anu with a smile on his face. He had just fought an entire field's worth of monsters his level and lower and fought two bosses one level above him and won! Everything was going so well for him, but as he walked down the street of Mac Anu he noticed a player with a very desperate look on her face. He walked over to her and stopped in front of her. "Hey," he started, but was taken back by her sudden reaction. Fear was radiant in her eyes and she started to speak in a shaky voice, "Are you here to come take me too?"

Reo raised an eyebrow and said, "Huh?"

The girl began to shake her head and spoke again, "Please don't take me either . . . I don't wanna die!" Reo's eye's widened in shock, "Was she attacked by Player Killers too?" He knelt down to her and spoke, "No . . . I'm not one of 'them'," even though he was sill unsure what she was talking about. The girl's breathe slowly calmed down and she spoke to him, "W-we were just minding our business going on a quest . . . when these two guys came up and attacked us. They killed my two friends and they came after me. I-I ran away . . ."

Reo slowly moved a hand out, "Listen . . . it's all right, I was attacked too." But even though he said this, he knew his word wouldn't do the trick. He was lucky enough to meet a P.K.K., her friends and herself.

 

Admin - Nero: Level 8. 2/3 Exp . and Zeke: Level 7. 2/3 Exp

Zeke rushed between the people, chasing Karite eagerly. Suddenly a huge crowd pulled up, all with beer or other liquer in their hands, and special event hats. "Beerfest? Here?! Oww, not now!" Zeke sighed and jumped from between the crowd. He dashed forward, laying his feet on the heads of the drunken players. Nero followed by jumping from roof to roof. When they both had Karite in sight, they tried to surround him. But when they thought they had him, he logged off.
"Arghh!!" Zeke shouted angrily.
"Calm down, dude." Nero said.
"No way, i'm chasing his IP activity now!" Zeke said while Ruben inserted the IP adress into some sort of tracking programm behind his laptop.

 

As they waited, the demon summoned a beam of light, and out of that light appeared a human sized, red demon. He had horns and black eyes. He also heald a sword in his hand. Wraith turned to Yui and said "Don't die." Yui blushed and said "um....ok." She then started getting a spell ready. Wraith looked at the demon and said "Come on." The demon charged at him with his sword. Wraith doged the first attack but the second one got his back. "Agh!" Yui looked at Wraith and said "Wraith!" Wraith got up and stabbed the demon in the back. "Yui." "The spell!" She nodded and said Rue Kruz!" Water hit the demon as Wraith stabbed him in the back again. The damage got the devil down as Yui said "Wraith." "NOW!" Wraith then took his sword and stabbed him in the back again. This time, the demon was dead. Wraith sat on the ground and said "Whew." "That was close."

 

Admin - Nero: Level 9! . and Zeke: Level 8!

Ruben's phone rang as he stared at the flat laptop screen with tired eyes. He quickly picked it up and answered while looking at the laptop: "Yeah, Ruben here.
"Ruben, don't be stupid!" Merlin said from the other side. "He's gone, calm down."
"No, dude. That cocky bastard's getting it now."
"... Okay, i know i can't win you over any more..."
"That's great, thanks. So you'll help me?" Ruben replied.
"I didn't say that.. maybe if you ask nicely." he asked.
"... Please?"

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 4 (1/3 xp)

"Pfft. I bet more than half those rumors are ego boosters and attention getters. If he had a third job extension, do you really think C.C. Corp would allow him to just walk around? I hear they've got some of the best hackers working for them. Though if Haseo was a hacker himself that would explain a lot of those rumors and they could be true. Albeit illegal." Salvatore shrugged and started looking around once more. "How many do we need again?" He asked.

 

Wraith got up and looked at the giant demon in front of them. It looked down at them and started speaking. "I am the guardian of the altar." "I'm suprised that you defeated my minion." "It seems that two work great together." "Don't forget that." "THere is a chest right behind the pedestal." "Take it." The demon rose up to the sky and flew away. Yui went to the chest and opened it. There was two potions and two bags of golds. Yui grabbed a bag and a potion and handed them to Wraith. "Here you go." "You deserve it." He grabbed them and gave her a smile. "Thanks." She blushed and said "No problem."

 

Twin Blade Level 3 2/3 XP

Reo and the girl sat in the inn at Mac Anu and spoke. She had told him her story of what happened in better detail. As he sipped some Cola from a straw (he feared water damage) he spoke to her, "So . . . what was it you guys were carrying?"

The girl looked around and switched to private chat, "We had a copy of the poem Epitaph of the Twilight." Reo raised an eyebrow at this, he had never heard of the poem before but he tried his best to keep up. "They said they wanted it from us, but my friend said no and that's when they attacked us."

Reo sat back in his chair in the inn and sighed, "Jeez, must have been very important to them."

"The poem is important to everyone!" she said with a slightly raised voice.

"Okay, okay, sorry. So tell me what's important about it?"

 

Johnny was at school and was sitting in through a simple math class. He was just writing down his work when the PA sounded, "Johnny Tovin, please come to the office." Johnny packed his stuff and headed to the office as he was told. Once there he found the principal waiting for him. "Your mother just called, sister is sick and your parents have to go out of town. You are to head home and look after her." Johnny nodded and started walking home. Maybe once I get her settled and sleeping, I can log back on The World.
