Hunters

Reo continued to crawl foward holding a completely bloody side with one arm while moving with the other. Reo gritted his teeth in pain and called out weakly, "Heza . . . sh-she was in a dogfight with Buts-butsuchiru . . . H-he got away . . . Heza . . . she's fine right?" Reo looked at his leader and grabbed his arm, sobbing as he spoke. "P-please. . . go to where she was shot down and . . . give her this." He placed a heart-shaped necklace with an angel wing to one side. "It's her birthday . . . today." Reo closed his eyes and fell unconcious. "Heza . . ."

Heza slowly walked out of her fighter that lay severly damaged and held her left arm. Soldiers began to converge on her position and she got out a Travor Battle Rifle and began to fire. After killing a multitude of soldiers she began to run as fast as she could towards a beacon in the city that was being attacked.

Butsuchiru breathed in and breathed out in pleasure and turned around to see an old man with a combat knife charging at him. Butsuchiru grabbed the old man's wrist and looked at him with emotionless eyes and smiled slightly. "Grandpa, grandpa!" said a small child behind him with tears in his eyes. He looked at the old man and squeezed his forearm, shattering it with his angelic strength. The man yelped like a whipped dog and fell on his knees. Butsuchiru placed his boot on the man's face and pushed back, breaking his neck and letting go. Butsuchiru then looked at the small child and shot him in the head. "Trash . . ."

 

Reo blinked and looked around him and nodded, "Y-yeah . . . I can walk, but I'll be going in and out of it, Butsuchiru got me again. He's too strong for me . . . I'm still just a human. Heza can handle him better than me." As he placed a shoulder over Wolf to support him, thought back to his training ceremony and realized that he had been told the day he was placed into the Hunters that he could die at anytime.

 

Lora had followed Wolf to wherever he was going, maybe he was going to need some help, she was kinda ticked of at Will so she wasn't staying with him. I mean she didn't mean to shot the thing, she was just mad and it was standing there so instead of shooting Wolf like she wanted to so she shot at what was in frount of her. She was going to say sorry but didn't get the chance. She saw wolf with his team mate Reo, she went over to she if she could help them. She never meant Reo before but he was hurt"Hey you guys need some help at all?" she asked when she was over there.

 

Ghualo opened his eyes slowly- they were sensitive to light at first, but then shapes started to form, and as he attempted to get up, he realized he was strapped down to the bed. It was a rather comfortable bed for one that he was probably going to be autopsied on. Ghualo looked around, and he didn't recognize where he was.

"S'Ghualo de frotaal... frotaal de wess il." Ghualo mumbled, struggling to get out from the tight straps.

 

Lync saw Wolf holding up Reo, who was hurt, and the others around him. WHen he saw that, for some reason, he just wanted to cry. He let out a smal whined as he saw them talking to eachother. He then shook his head and just looked away from them. But, at that moment, unknowingly to Lync, a single teardrop was on his right face cheek.

 

Will strode up to the creature. "It's ok. Your safe. Are you able to speak english?" He asked the creature, fumbling with his BR55 Battle Rifle as he slipped it onto his back. He had saved the creature yet Wolf yelled at him for not even knowing Reo had been hurt. "I didn't know..." He muttered, ignoring the creature for a second.

 

The Cerephibian mind was tricky, but super-intelligent as well, which was why the English translation for the specie's name was "Cerephibian", as in Cerebral Amphibian, and also their homeworld too, "Encephyleos", was derived from the prefix Encephalo.

Ghualo replayed the distant recordings of the man's voice that was stored in his memory and enciphered the message- he was speaking English. Ghualo licked his lips and tried to translate what he was about to say into English vocals.

"What... DO you want... from me?" Ghualo asked slowly, hoping that came out right.

 

Will's head snapped up. "I just wanted to help you since... Lora shot you" He said, feeling bad about the incident. "I am sorry about her, she has not had the same training as the Hunters." He explained. "So... ummm... where are you from?" He asked.

 

Ghualo enciphered his English again, "From. From. I am FROM Encephyleos M... M... C-D-X-X..." He said, trying to understand what he was still doing here.

"I need... Cerephibian F-Class Vocal Translator... it hurt... talk like this..." Ghualo said, knowing that the only way he could speak regularly with them was to get a piece of famous technology known as the Cerephibian Vocal Translator.

 

Reo lifted his head up slightly but winced as a few of his newly broken ribs scratched at his flesh. "UGH!" he grunted and kept his head down. "I really hope Heza is all right . . ."

Butsuchiru turned around and looked at the killing machine that had paused. He traced Lycn's line of vision and noted the Hunters moving in the tunnel. He smiled wickedly and clicked on his intercom. "Grahl . . . it seems we have a great deal of new guest. Shall . . . give them the red carpet?"

 

Heza unclicked her intercom and spoke out, "Thank god . . . we needed this." She then ran forward for a few more moments into the city and ducked under some rubble and engaged more enemy soldiers. "All airborne give support and evac to citizen and myself, remember the primary target is Grahl. Be on the lookout for the enemy fighters, they'll be coming in hot." She moved out of cover and took out another group of soldiers with her m1048 shotgun and ran towards the heart of the city were Grahl would be.

Butsuichiru slowly unsheathed his butterfly knife and ran towards Wolf and his group.

 

"I have no intention Wolf, your kind had made me this way!" Butsuchiru moved to left and then the right, making it harder for Wolf to get a clear shot. The marks on his shoulder blades began to burn and his cells began to morph. "I've been waiting for so many years after these operations Wolf!"

 

Lora pulled Reo over away from the fighters. Wolf was trying to shot his opponent but he was to fast. Lora could barley see him. "Come on and get him." Lroa yelled at him. She looked down at Reo, he was messed up but not close to death. She just hoped wolf wouldn't die. Then she would either have to carry two bodies with her to there base, or she would be on the ground with them. She saw as Wolf was losing, so she took out her shot gun and aimed. Butsuchiru stopped behind Wolf and was aobut to strike him hard, but Lora was ready, she shot two rounds out hitting him in the back. There was a loud cry and Wolf looked back and was about to hit him but was to slow. instead he was hit back into a wall hard. Butsuchitru turned to Lora and attacked, he picked her up and was choking her, but harder and faster than she had ever been choked, she was dying fast and wasn't able to do a thing. "WOLF GET YOUR ASS UP AND HELP ME" Lora screamed with all she had. Then she was blacking out.

 

Butsuchiru dropped her and looked behind him and his eyes changed to black, with the pupils becoming white. "Yes . . . the Dragon . . . the Dragon against the Angel." (allusion from the Bible in Rev.) Butsuchiru's shoulder blades stabbed out from his back and brilliant, white wings appeared and Butsuchiru took off his shirt and turned to him and took out his katana and his hair got longer and turned white silver. His muscles became leaner and more powerful. He pulled on two white gloves and looked at his opponent and smiled sinisterly. "Now . . . succumb to the power of the mighty angel."

Lora couldn't see anything barlye, she heard Wolf cry out, but he stopped, something was happening to him. She couldn't see him anymore, she could barley keep her eyes open. Then before she could black out, she said one last thing. "Wolf...."and she was out cold. Blacking out wasn't like sleeping at all, she was dreaming dreaming about herself and wolf, somewhere else then the hell they where in. She looked at him and he was smiling. Then she was no longer dreaming.
