What kind of roleplays are we lacking or want to see more of?

Wow.... Since when did I become so popular? Umm.... Well I'd have to think it over first. And probably read alot more of your RPing.

Lotta people have. I've been there. But now most of my boredom comes from a lack of RPing. There's just so many of those days lately where nobody in the RPs I'm in are on. Or they never post in that RP.

 

This is all a part of maturing & aging. Besides, I rp because I love having the idea of putting a picture in my head, & then it helps me be more creative & more thinking in how a story goes. Helpful for theaters, poems, & English classes. Anways, I think it's because all of us are in different time zones & everyone always have something to do in real life.

 

Well that certainly contributes to it.

And about the pics. It's sorta a win lose. It can help where words fail, but it also can make you lazy in your posts/writings.

 

??? Lazy? I don't be feeling lazy when I do that. Besides, don't you think that rp's revolves being creative anyways instead of just popping out words.

 

The idea is to be creative using words. Hence a text based RP. And yes lazy. I rarely see, in RPs here, people using descriptive words when RPing. They don't describe the environment around their characters or what their characters look like. You assume people read the OOCs to find out what they look like and assume people know what the world around their characters look like.

I'm not saying you have to write a paragraph or five to describe the area characters are in, but a little description can help motivate people.

If you look at my posts in VGW I describe Vergil, even though any one who has played DMC or looked in the OOC knows what he looks like. It helps you monitor your RP abilities as well as the flow of the story.

 

what do you guys think of a human-enhancer RP about like mutants from X-men, but like a totally different plot line??

it'll be different than other classic RP's that consist of mutant heroes.

...That Bleach one is too long to read after midnight.Anyway,on the actual topic,I would love to see more Sci-fi ones and I would join a musical one just for the laughs!

On the other stuff,Im pretty sure my characters tend to be the same,either too happy or some misunderstood darkness guy.Dont make female characters cause I know I wouldnt due em justice.I also hate the fighting ones sometimes because even when you land a hit it does nothing!I can get it if you fight the main bad guy at the very begining since he/she would be WAY stronger then your character is at that moment,but not later on.Of course Im pretty sure I am also in violation of that,need to work on it when I start again,but that probably will not be for a while.Oh,and Im not making rps for a while since none of mine ever really work out.
