LOL, if only it was that simple no one would have any problems.

 

I would'nt say that is completely true. Some of our differences come from our belief of right and wrong.

However their is compromise.

Like would you be willing to ban abortion if we allow women who may be in danger of loosing their life in child birth to still have an abortion?

See if we could agree on this then we would have the abortion issue out of the way.

 

On the abortion thing here is how pro life people see it:

You're forcing the baby to die. It's no different than murder. We are not saying the mother should be forced to raise a child, there is always adoption. We are just saying she has no right to kill another living being and thus the unborn deserve rights.

plus have you seen an ultrasound of a baby during the point that abortions are performed? That thing is alive. Truth is the liberal special interest groups have lied to the American people. I have heard stories of women getting an ultrasound before they get an abortion and when they see that baby they decide not to have an abortion and carry and give birth to the child.

We could solve this if we ban abortion and put our resources into adoption agencies and we can improve them and make them better. Then when the baby is born, the mother can choose to keep it or put it up for adoption so another loving family can take care of it.

Now that sounds reasonable, does it not?

Now on the issue of race. You can't generalize people in a category like that. I live in the south but I am not racist. I'm a christian and proud of it and I am a Tennessee boy and proud of it but I am not racist nor am I a hillbilly nor was I conceived through incest.

In fact I scored advance on my test in school last year. By nature I am a researcher and my interest are politics. Constantly I search for answers to things and always keep an open mind. Sometimes it is necessary to look beyond the evidence before me and think of a bigger picture. Politics is appealing because of the good that can be done for all.

Nomraly you might expect a 16 year old to be at the mall with his friends but I prefer to research and study so that I may grow in my understanding of the universe and existence itself.

My philosophy is that to only believe science or to only believe religion is to be blind but to look beyond what you see and to consider both sides will grant you new knowledge and understanding and slowly your eyes will be opened to the truth.

I do believe in God and I believe Jesus was his son sent here to die and save us of our sins, if only we come to him and accept his as lord. However I look at the bible and science as a whole. The two are simply misunderstandings and misreadings of eachother and my research has come up that they go hand in hand.

What science fails to explain, religion fills in the gaps and what religion leaves a mystery, science can explain.

Science is our way of explaining the workings of God.

For example:

We assume and it is likely the universe began with the big bang however scientist are not sure what triggered this explosion. Like all explosions the big bang had to be triggered by something but as to what that is, is still a mystery to scientist.

Here is where religion comes in. What if God triggered the big bang? There was nothing but darkness before the big bang (And the bible does say in the begining there was only darkness). Then God created the heavens and the earth. Well when the big bang happened it caused the stuff to form the universe to come into existence (remembered we sometimes refer to the universe as the heavens) so God began taking this stuff and used it to form planets (Earth included) and the heavens (The universe itself).

In this open minded examination science and the bible fit perfectly.

You may also argue that the bible says God created everything in 5 days then he made man and then rested. However we assume they were 24 hour days. But remember we as humans created time, time is only an allusion.

So to God those 5 days he created everything could have equaled billions of years to us humans. Therefore science and the bible once again fit perfectly.

During those 5 days or billions of years to God, the dinosaurs exist and died out, the ice age happened, ect. Then after billions of years and on the 6th days was the dawn of humans.

So the creation story and science in this way fit perfectly and do not contradict each other. This is why I am a much different christian than you might believe most in the south would be.

 

Wrong, I have seen ultrasounds of a baby at the point abortions are performed and those little babies are moving. So they are alive.

Abortion is just another way of controling the population but nothing and I do mean nothing except for the mother's life being in danger justifies an abortion, in my opinion.

 

Fine.

Point is I think conservative and liberals can agree but we have to be willing to work together.

I think liberals do need to challenge Obama instead of saying "He's just trying his best". Remember we the American people are his boss, it's our job to judge the presidents perfomance.

I'm willing to admit when I am wrong and I believe liberals should admit when they are wrong.

If we work together (and no this does not mean conservatives have to support abortion or gay marriage) then we can make alot of progress.

I believe that these czars should be voted in by the congress like everyother white house worker and go through the same review process. That is all I ask and I don't think that is unreasonable.

Let's have a federal investigation of Acorn, if they are truly innocent then the investigation will prove that.

So let's debate but let's be reasonable and humble, both conservatives and liberals.
