Brandon, you worship god, the good guy, but there are bad people in this imperfect world who will go with Satan cause he will trick them very easily like eve, and most of the time it weak minded people who lost everything and think god hates them. and he wants to be worship too.

It rather seems to be choice than saying one is wrong and the other is right.
You say "Satan" tricks weak minded people, implying Satan worshippers are weak?
In a "Satan" follower's shoes, they would say the opposite saying "God" worshippers are weak.

I think it really comes down to choice rather than a level of faith/strength/etc in that area.

I wasn't twisting, but it seemed like you were implying that in your sentence. I simply brought it to view for discussion, if I was wrong in assuming that was what you meant, then I was wrong. And I will freely speak how I interpret your words. So telling me to watch what I say isn't going to do anything really. I'm not acting as Ms. Mother, but rather out of habit. I am a mod on another site and I tend to be forward about how people are acting, calling them on things like yours and Brandon's little dilemma a while ago. I was only trying to stop what could have become an off topic "No YOU!" argument which could have gotten this thread closed. If you've forgotten I do believe we were all warned sometime ago about off topic discussions leading to the closing of this thread. I will get involved as I see fit because when people are letting their pride or anger get to them they need someone to jump in and say "Hey calm down" or "take a step back". I don't mean to do the mods job, but I'm simply doing what a good debater would do, and that would be telling both parties to cool their jets a bit.

 

That is true. See, some people are TOO stupid to acknowledge the person who practice satanism. But, all other religion in the Christian mind are fine, but when some on says he or she worship Satan, they turn the other cheek. Is this what your precious God told you to do? Just because that person is different, you'll cross your arms and give them the death stare?

Let's not forget, that Satan, or Lucifer used to be an Angel, and used to work for God, and used to be good.

My opinion, God is fine. He is the best, but the bible, that is another story. Are you gonna live your life based on a simple book? Your connection between God is you AND God. You don't need the bible to be the middle man.

 

do keep this lil bit of info about me to yourselves. as a wiccan the contreversy over god or satan being better seems incredibly ridiculous. first off any christian,morman or satanist can not say they do not have at least one thing in common with their enemy be it god, satan or even rawr. it is not wrong to beleive in something or someone. IT IS WRONG TO RIDICULE AND DEMEAN THEM BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY BELEIVE.

 

Sometimes, it's not all the times Satan in the work. It sometimes will be a trial or tribulation to test your faith. Also Yukou, I'm going to say the same thing like I said evry time. There are some christians like me who'll still respect their decision &, like God wants us to do, still give them love for them. Satanism may worry me about their lives, but I still must treat them like a human being.

Also Hare, I only going to tell a person to be quiet for one time & that's it. If they still want to go on & on to tell someone to shut up, then I'll just ignore them. I went through several debates like this one with DOD, but we still was able to stay on topic even though there was too many shut up's.

When it comes to Satan, I believe that we all have our own inner Satan that we must overcome, for we are in constant battle of doing what is right and what is wrong. If u'r looking for a good example of what I'm talking about, or if u dont have a clue about what I'm talking about, go find a movie called Revolver. The ending is exactly what i mean and believe.

 

I agree with what you say Roxas. I too believe that we all have our own devil to fight. That devil is the form of your own darkness and you have to defeat it. This darkness consists of your own past sins. I know this because I'm in this battle too for I have to deal with the things I've done wrong.

 

This is a true story:

Yeah. I'm sorry if you want to know my past sins but I won't tell you but don't think I killed anybody or stole anything because I didn't. Anyway there will be a time where you have to face that demon. I wish you luck for your battle.

 

yeah. It prooves that man is selfish, and that the seven deadly sins stillremain king over all this time. We want to think that becuz we have more technology and we have science that we are better than men of old. But the truth is, we're all the same. We are all weak fragile beings, only worried about ourselves. The ultimant battle/test is to overcome that urge of self preservation.
I like that saying from Gladiator, something along the lines of: "When death smiles upon a man, what can he do but smile back?"

Aw, crap. I had several others, but they completely slipped my mind. But, you get my gist, right? Maybe sometimes, a stick is a stick. But, we always have to interpret everything! Dreams, everyday occurences, silly superstitions. . . . I pose a question - if you could see everything just as it is - EXACTLY AS IT IS - no "PRAISE THIS!" or "DISPROVE THAT!" - what would you (Everyone in this discussion) say? Would you still believe/disbelieve in a god?

 

Actually I'm finding this part of your post quite humorous . You say you aren't saying I'm acting like one of those people, when you are. Quite quick to change your words around.

You only said sorry, after I had intervened. The only reason I continued to 'lecture' you is because you were basically asking as to why I performed such a task. I explained, and now you claim that it is my ego or my pride. Perhaps to some extent, but its not a hurtful pride that drives me to do such acts.

True, pride can be a very bad thing, but if you knew me you would know that my type of person is not an egotistical sort. The fact that you, my good debater, are twisting my words around - which you cannot deny, for you used my words to turn the table from my explanation about why I do such things as intervene when people let their pride or anger get to them, to an "example" about ego's- is truly to me proof of good jest.

As for the little Ego and pride discussion going on between Haresuno and Mythril Roxas, if it is no longer related to religion then I suggest you stop defending yourself about it.

Ever hear the phrase: "The sins of our fathers do not pass on to the sons."? I'm not going to repent for a crime I didn't commit. And mind you what sin, because if you're referring to the sin of Adam and Eve you should drop that. That story disgusts me, and it should disgust you to. Unless you're one of those people who are okay with incest.

However, taking away from what the Adam and Eve sin is and not using it in its written context, I ask you, what sin? So far the only sin I see that man has committed that would pass on from generation to generation is thinking that he knows right when it comes to choosing who lives and dies.

DX That story saddens me too Hare, but it's the truth. The reason why we sin is that we choose to sin. We choose to be disobedient.We choose to kill, steal, & destroy. DX Sadly, that's a part of our nature that we have to fight off against. That's why we still sin. We keep on getting tempted to do wrong when we know to do right.

Also Answe, this debate is not just a part of this site, it's a part of the whole world too. People is still doing wrong, still want to act like they're superior than others, it's just sickening & sad. We fell hard when sin came. We is going to fall even harder once there are people still suiciding themselves. DX Actually, let's not go & talk about suicide.
