Dissidia Final Fantasy

HELLZ YES. I've been waiting for this game for aaaaaages. I even pre-ordered it, I'm that excited, and I hardly ever pre-order. =D

I've been playing the demo, too, and I am highly excited. I can't wait for full movesets and the entire cast. I'm most looking forward to Ulti, Squall and Terra. =D What about everyone else?

 

Did anyone hear Kefka's voice? It sounds really good. Thank God they did'nt mess up his english voice.

I was kinda dissapointed with Exdeath's voice though.

 

The PSP?! Aw man! I DON'T EVEN HAVE ONE & THE GAME LOOKS LIKE THE NINTEDO WII OR THE PLAYSTATION! Oh well. If I can get me one, I'll play as Tidus & Ultimecia. (XD She's sexy.)

 

it's fun, it sucks they dont got zack, but it's fun, i played the demo too, but you have to use speical attacks to hurt people, regular attacks just take ther points. that made me mad...but if they had just made it so you could use other attacks like thuder, or ice, or even other stuff, but it's still fun, but I thougth it was going to be a adventure game, and a fighting game, like SBB, but it was good..

 

If I was you summoner, I would get a psp now. The psp go comes out in fall and you can only download games on that. Personaly I hate download games.

I heard there is going to be cameos of other FF characters in cutscenes besides the playable characters.

It seems to be more missions than adventures.
battle after battle after battle.
With a set story line of course.

No, it's not like CC.

Basically there are 10 story modes. 1 for each hero, in each story the hero will travel across a map that resembles a checkerboard through out many levels. Here they face monsters and story events take place. At the end of each map lies a boss and on the final map is the final boss of that character's story. For example:

Cloud has like 10 maps and on the final map he faces sephiroth.

The goal of each story is to defeat the opposing villian and take back one of the ten crystals.

After all ten stories are complete, a final set of maps is unlocked called "Shade impulse" here we must kill the FF villians one last time before we confront the final boss. Though I wont tell you who the final boss is, so I wont spoil it for you.

 

is the fainl boss someone we know? and are they ff1 crystals?

 

-_- That's the problem. I'm praying real hard for a Nintendo Wii first & my momther & grandmother is trying real hard to get me that game system. WHo knows. maybe something else will come my way, but I'm still having faith that I can get what I desire.

 

Well there are 10 crystals, 1 for each of the first 10 FF games. Whoever controls all ten crystals will control the universe.

Here is the list of each crystal:

1. FF1 = A crystal from FF1
2. FF2 = A crystal rose
3. FF3 = A crystal from FF3
4. FF4 = A crystal from FF4
5. FF5 = A crystal from FF5
6. FF6 = A peice of magitek in the form of a crystal
7. FF7 = A large peice of materia
8. FF8 = A Crystal lion
9. FF9 = The life crystal from FF9 in smaller form
10. FF10 = A sphere crystal from the sphere grid.

There are two gods in dissidia. Cosmos the goddess of harmony (The side of the heros) and Chaos the god of discord (The side of the villians)

Whoever controls the crystals of each FF world will control the universe of FF.

Also, the final boss is a character from a previous FF.

 

cool! bu ti was about to say the life crysatal, would be heavy in your back pocket. so that mean everybody knows everybody know, and so they know of other worlds.

 

That's right. Well atleast the main heros know of eachother now. I'm not sure if they were allowed to speak of the existence of the other FF worlds to their friends or not.

It might not have much of an affect on the heros normal lives though. For example, dissidia seems to take place between FF7 and advent children, so cloud was transported to the dissidia world before advent children.

As we see in Advent children Cloud makes no mention of his adventure in dissidia.

 

Don't look at me. Ultimecia & Squall never did even mentioned about Ellone or the sorceresses, yet Ultimecia still want Time Compression. That's wierd to me.

 

well, cloud dosnt say much anyways, he mostly likey wanted to keep it to him to himself.

 

There are a few threads about this in the FF section. Including a thread (Made by me) of all 22 characters. I've heard though that the American version might have more characters.

I got it yesterday, I finished Cloud & Tidus Story!
It's so awesome!
