Caffeine is still classed as a drug.
    Addictive. It can be.
But that's like all drugs. It CAN be addictive.

Well you can do a bit of research on it and believe what it says or you can view it as what you think it is.

Bluntly saying, I believe it's a drug since it effects the body by introducing something that is foreign to the body.

Also something I quickly pulled when I searched "Caffeine"

Caffeine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There you go. (Sure it's Wikipedia, but all of its information is cited)

Tolerance and Withdrawal is a more vivid description of 'addiction.'

Tolerance - Your body 'gets used to' the drug and it adapts to accomodate the incoming chemicals.

Withdrawal - Your body going a little nuts when the chemicals are then removed from the system.

    Like me to say, huh?

Yeah, coffeine is classified as a drug but I don't myself really take it that way. Since you can get adddicted to cigarettes and alcohol, caffeine shouldn't be classified as a drug. It just cheers tou up.

other drugs cheers you up too, remember that, then when your coffee experience is over you become draggy and bummed out. just like with other drugs

Actually, when I have a lots of coffee (or some other products which have caffeine) I have no after effects, If I'm drowsy and have some energy drinks or whatsoever, I only kinda "wake up" and so. But like in weed, you get a feeling of that you need something to drink. Two really different topics.

Actually, cigarettes have...over how many chemicals in it? Well, basically, it's got hundreds. And rat poison. Cigarettes have rat poison. Maybe their...ahem...wastes as well?

I think that sometimes people go through a time in their life...when things suck. (Not put very gracefully, whatever though.) Like really suck. Maybe your parents are getting divorced, someone close to you died, you're getting beat up by kids at school, or your family members are abusing you. Some people just make a wrong choice. and they do some drugs. And when they're high, they don't worry about things like that. So they do a little bit at a time, and it gets to be more and more, and then, bam, they're addicted.

    So yeah.

well, hello...weird waffle....., but anyways if they know it's bad, but they know it will make them feel better but at a cost then why do it.

Well, we who smoke, we have each our own reasons. Like me, it's a bad habit and a thing that makes me relaxed. And so on.

Nicotine is not classified as a drug, I think.

It's plausible to suggest you don't feel the effects of caffeine (an 'upper' or stimulant) because you're getting regular doses of nicotine (a stronger 'upper' or stimulant).

But not everyone is as 'immune' to the effects as this.

And if you're curious about weed, Marijuana is not classed as an 'upper' or a 'downer' (depressant). It's classed as a hallucinogen...

So they're two really different types of drug...but I don't think they're two different topics.

EDIT: Nicotine most certainly is a drug (Straight from N.I.D.A.) :

The Highly addictive Nicotine that is found in the Tobacco Plant.
The Nicotine makes you addicted and the chemicals (which KH_Fangirl_75 had mentioned) is the thing that harms you.
Well the Nicotine does also harm you by making you release more hormones that want it, so it's effecting you chemically and then harming you mentally so that you need more.

it might make you relaxed, but at what cost? so you can reduce you life? Mess up you life with friends and family(sometimes) and even waste money when you could do something better with it! then you get addicated to it. then when you got sober, your life feels worse than it did before. I can't understand why people that do drugs that do it. even if you feel better. even if it makes stress go away. it's only for a short time, you want stress to be gone, than find a better way! man.
