The New Dawn 3: Into Yesterday

Vanquish ran upto her and took her by the throat before Harone could react. She opened a portal and sprinted inside of it, taking them to a room, which looked alot like the room in Hollow Bastion, with the princesses captured into the capsules. Brakdern placed Tinkerbell and Mulan beforewise. Nicole was the third princess of heart to be captured and what made Vanquish smile was the fact that Harone couldn't save her because there was a barrier around the world but if all seven princesses of heart are present inside the World of Destruction, the barrier would crumble to dust.
Nicole was still held by the throat, struggling but before Vanquish could let her go, she had to make her unconscious. Vanquish stabbed her keyblade through her arm.
"That should make her fall into a deep sleep"

 

Sven appeared in the room. He had his hood up but peered up some seeing Nicole. He grinned some. He walked over to Vanguish.

"Good job. I felt another Princess of Heart, Twilight Town, those foolish heores don't know of her being gone yet and still think Wendy is the princess of heart so be quick about things, that other princess won't be able to tell." Sven said. He took Nicole's body and stuck it in a capsule. The special vines started to grow on to her body. Sven looked at Vanguish and then at Brakdern.

"Do you wish to be alone?" Sven asked him. "I will leave now, I need to meditate." Sven disappeared leaving just Vanguish and Brakdern.

 

"Look, I was hired to guard you. You really think I'm just gonna let you go just like that?" Symm asked, blocking a doorway. For good measure, he summoned his scythe and used that to help him block the door.

"If your friend is gone, splitting up won't do much good. Look what it did to her."

 

Calder held Siah's hand, to stop her.
"Siah, we'll find Nicole but now we need to stop other princesses of heart from being taken"
Harone looked down. He didn't move, he just stood on the spot, flabberghasted and fearful for her future wife.
"Nicole's strong" he told himself but he couldn't stop a tear from rolling down his cheek.
He heard Calder and understood. They wouldn't be able to penetrate their fortress until they have succeeded in their mission.

 

Brakdern looked at Vanquish and smiled.
"For once Vanquish, you are impressing me. Here's something as a reward"
Brakdern gave her a stone.
"You know what to do with it. Now, I want you to go to Twilight Town and find someone of the name, Olette. She doesn't suspect any attack. She does not know of her princess powers. I want you to take Sven with you too. He hasn't been in action for a while. I'm sure he'd enjoy it"
"Yes master" Vanquish replied.

 

Sven appeared behind Vanguish. He grinbed.

"About time, those heroes are going after Auara. I have blocked the world making it impossible for them to break." Sven said.



The vines were now oveer Nicole's body. She was not seeled off quite yet though, meaning she was able to slowly wake up. Her eye lids begin to open she definately showed signs of being really.

 

Vanquish smiled.
"I'm guessing you mean somebody else because Aurora has already died when Vanquish was after the princesses of heart, 4 years ago. New princesses of heart have been chosen"
Brakdern grinned aswell.
"She is right, Sven. I want you to go to Twilight Town and search for the girl named Olette"

 

"So I can't go play with fools. Sounds like a plan."Sven said. He created a portal for him and Vanguish. He stepped through first and pulled Vanguish through.



Nicole was weak. She looked at Brakdern eyes partially open.

"Where...am I?" She said very weak.

 

Brakdern turned to Nicole.
"Ah, you're awake. Perfect"
He placed his hand on the glass.
"I better not tell you where you are but I will tell you, that your friends cannot help you at this moment. There's a barrier around this world, stopping people from entering. You'll be here for quite some time. But don't be afraid, you are in good company"
Brakdern stopped and looked at Nicole. He stared into her eyes.
"Do you know who I am, by any chance?"

 

Nicole looked at him. h'her head began to hurt. She closed her eye lids tight.

"Ehhh, not really, but I don't know." Her head was trying to tell her. Something deep in her memory, a dark memory. One that was locked up.

 

Brakdern smiled, with his yellow teeth.
"I'm your father, Nicole" he told her.

Meanwhile. Vanquish and Sven appeared at the clock tower square.
"Now, where do you think this Olette is?" she asked Sven.

Calder sat on the driver's seat and lifted the ship upto the skies of space, after everyone settled in. He briefly looked back at harone, who was sitting down on the couch, looking depressed. He hasn't spoken since Nicole was taken. He wished Nicole wasn't taken so nobody would be upset. He gulped at the thought of Nicole dead. Calder frowned and stared into the stars. He would protect Siah, as hard as he could and that meant death. He wanted Siah to sit next to him. He wanted to spend as much time as he could with her. Vanquish was stronger and he was afraid, if he would die in vain of her.

 

Nicole's eyes widend.

"What.... how!?" She exclaimed. She couldn't move or anything. She struggled in the vein. She looked at him. She saw it though, the similarities. She couldn't believe it. She struggled to get loose but couldn't.

"How could you do this!?" She exclaimed. Everything was covered but her face and her chest where her heart was. She couldn't even move her head to look away from him.




Sven grinned.

"With her husband and daughter. They're with an old friend, Harone and his son. Her daughter is learning how to struggle." Sven said. "Any other questions?"

Vanquish smiled.
"You go after Olette. I'll go meet her daughter. I feel she might become a nuisance"
She walked down a hill and saw a girl hitting dummies with a struggle bat.
Vanquish changed her appearance to make her look like a teenage girl rather than a dark witch.


"Hey, I'm new here. I'm trying to find someone to talk to. It's the summer holidays and I'm bored"

Brakdern smirked.
"You really don't know who I am, do you?"
He turned back to Nicole.
"Time for a lullaby"
He touched the glass and made her drowsy.
"Lie down
Go to sleep
I slit your mother's throat so deep"
Brakdern laughed, as he sent her to sleep. His laugh sounded demented and indeed he was.

 

Nicole started getting drowzy. She tried to stay awake.

"No..." She mumbled. She couldn't keep her eyes open. "Why..." She couldn't finish before her eye lids were close and her body was still and motionless like the rest of the princess of heart. She looked calm, truthfully, she was far from being calm.




Olivia, Olette's daughter looked at the girl. Pence looked over.

"Oh, well I can give a tour." Olette suggested. She smiled at the girl and walked over.

"I want to come!" Olivia exclaimed running over.

"Oh you just don't want to beat again!" Harry, Hayner's son called after her. Olivia turned and faced him.

"That's not true!" She exclaimed. HArry stuck his tongue out and Olivia's face turned to anger. she ran over to her mother. Pence smiled and looked at Hayner.

"Well I guess we'll head back to my place." Hayner said talking about himself, Pence, and Harry. Olette nodded and faced the women heading off in teh direction for the alleyway.

 

Vanquish saw Sven in the distance. She nodded to tell him to attack Olette. She made a wall of darkness blocking Olette and Sven from the others.
"Do it now, Sven!"
She flipped over to Olette, who was now alone. Vanquish, now was at her usual form.

Calder sprinted outside the gummi ship and started to run down the streets. He felt something was wrong. He ran up the hill and suddenly found Vanquish facing a brown haired woman. She must have been a princess of heart.

Vanquish saw Calder, who was standing on lower ground.
"YOU!!!"
She dashed upto him and kicked him in the stomach, causing him to hit a brick wall.
"SVEN YOU GO AFTER OLETTE, I'VE GOT A SCORE TO SETTLE WITH THIS BRAT!!!"
Vanquish swang at Calder's heart but he blocked the attack.
"Vanquish, you're going to pay for what you did to Siah, when you fought her!"
"Yeah, like that's going to happen. I am much stronger now"
She sent a wave of dark wind towards Calder, making him fall down the hill and land on his face. Calder got upto his feet, almost instantly and ran at her in rage but Vanquish diverted his attack and punched him down to the ground. She started to lash him with her dark leather whip, which was in her left hand. It was glowing green. Calder shouted in agony, as she lashed out on his back. Green wounds emerged on his body and the blood oozed out of his shirt, like rattlesnakes slithering in the desert.
"YOU ARE WEAK!!! FIGHT ME COWARD!!!" Vanquish roared.

 

Sven hopped down but he was slow and seemed more to float down.

"Hmmmm, this is why I meditate, no matter. Olette, we need your assitance." Sven said. He extended his hand and it glowed green. Soon Olette's eyes were notthing but green and glowing.

"Now Olette, come with us." sven said creating a portal. Olette walked towards the portal. Olivia was laying on the ground.


"Mom! MOM!" Olivia yelled, but Olette wasn't in control, Sven was. Olivia stood up and went to save her mother. She picked up her struggle bat and ran teh force shield. She swung and hit. She jumped back and she looked down at the ground. Her mother and Sven disappeared. Her stuggle bat then began to glow and in it's place was a keyblade.

"What's this thing?" She asked.

 

Calder continued to be pounded by the whip. The scratches and cuts on Calder's body felt like burns and snake bites. Also the impact and the speed of the whip, caused Calder's bones to crack but he was able to finally block a blow.
"Enough"
Calder clinched his teeth as he got upto his feet. He started to hold his back, with his left hand. Calder casted Blizzard to cause Vanquish to step back.
"Is this how weak you have become, Calder. I was expecting much more than this....oh well. I want to see you die in pain"
Vanquish held his throat and started to strangle him.
Calder tried to cast fire to keep her off but he didn't have enough strength to fight her or cast magic. He started to run out of breath.
"Goodbye, Calder"
