The New Dawn 3: Into Yesterday

Nicole followed Kiba in.

"Hey there." Nicole greeted him still weak.

"You ok? Siah has been really worried about you." Nicole told Calder. She leaned against the wall and looked down at Kiba. She walked over to him and picked him up setting him in a chair near Calder's bed, tehre was anotehr chair there for Siah.

"Better Kiba?" Nicole asked him.

 

Calder hugged her back.
"It's okay, Siah...I'm sorry for worrying you"
Harone looked at Nicole.
"Let's get the ship ready, it seems like Calder's back in full shape"
Calder kissed Siah's cheek.
"Please don't worry about me, okay?...I'm alright"
He sat up.
"See"

 

"You may be weak for a while." Nicole said. Nicole then looked at Harone. She nodded. She followed him out to the gumi hanger.

"Hey Chip, Hey Dale!" Nicole called into the mic. She looked up at teh little room in which they worked in. They began jumping up and down.

"We need the ship prepaired." Nicole said.

OOC: Remember him? If not, Sora posted what he was in the OC.

IC: Symm had been leaning against a wall in the gummi workshop, waiting for the kids he was assigned to escort by Mickey - Of course, he got bored and took to wandering the castle. In his wanderings, he passed by a room - and then did a double take. The two he was assigned to kill (But dropped the mission - see the New Dawn) were in that room.

"Hey.... Don't I know you two blokes?" He asked Raven and Voltaire.

 

"Kinda." Voltair answered. "But it's more than that. Although it's nice knowing you'll feel the same about me no matter what."

Then Symm appeared. "I don't know. It's a possibility. Although, I'm guessing Port Royal would be the place you remember us from?"

 

Symm thought for a moment, then with a cheery face, he nodded in agreement.

"That'd be the place! Although, I can't really remember what I did after that.... I think I ran off because I needed a new job. A mercenary has got to eat, yanno?" He told them, beaming.

Then, he turned the conversation in an almost completely different direction.

"You two wouldn't be the ones I've been assigned to escort, wouldja? Waitaminute... I don't think either of your names are Calder or Siah.... Nonono - wait! Your names are..... Volter and Rav?"

(Purposely misspelled in case ya didn't catch it)

 

"Well, we aren't Calder and Siah. They're over there." Voltair said, pointing to Calder's room. "And you got our names wrong. Close, but not right. It's Voltair and Raven."

 

Calder smiled.
Calder stood up from his bed.
"I know Vanquish will want revenge on you, Siah. I don't want you in danger"

Harone walked in.
"We have a problem, we don't know where the new princesses of heart are"
He looked very afraid. If Vanquish got all the princesses of heart, she'd become incredibly powerful but he knew that Calder and himself wouldn't let anything happen to Nicole and Siah. Vanquish capturing 5 princesses of heart would still be terrible though.

 

"Well then we'll need to begin tracking, remeber all the princesses of hearts have a bond to each otehr, Vanguish probaly will use that route to find them, we'll have to as well. I'm not sure how it's done, but I think I heard the king talking about it before. Oh hey what did you want to talk about from yesterday you were wanted to talk to me but left with a nevermind." Nicole said.

"So what was up?" Nicole asked him. "Hey Chip Dale, get teh ship ready, we'll be right back." Nicole said in the mic and looked back at Harone.

 

Harone blushed. He was thinking about asking to marry her but it was too early....if things got dire, then maybe he would ask her. He had the ring in his bag. He smiled.
"It's nothing" he said, almost out of breath.
He sat down on a step, thinking for a reason why he would want to talk to her about and then he thought of an idea.
"I hope Cal and Si will be safe, I'm worried about them"

 

Nicole shrugged about his first comment. She sat down next to him.

"I'm sure they will be, they're probaly getting ready right now. I don't think they should come on this trip though, it's dangerous, probaly more dengerous then the adventures and journey's Siah's father went on. This is a risky one, if Siah get's lost her little brother willl be without a big sister and Calder and her family would be upset, we can use my heart to track the princesses of hearts, I have no family after all meaning no one would miss me and stuff, plus I can fight." Nicole said. She looked at him. She then stood up.

"Hey how about we go find out how we track the different bond locations and using my heart to find the rest of the princesses of hearts." Nicole told him.

 

Harone smiled but then frowned as Nicole thought no one cared about her.
"That's not true, Nicole. Everyone would miss you, Calder would, Siah would....I would"
He kissed her on the lips and then let go.
"Let's go"
He ran inside of the ship and saw Nicole enter inside too.
He looked at his bag, in the corner of the ship. It was beckoning him to ask her to marry him. He couldn't take it. He had to do it but the question in his mind was, were they too young. With all the danger, Nicole foreshadowed, was it time?
"Nicole, could you wait a minute?"
He took his bag into the washroom and shut the door behind him. He got the beautiful blue box, which contained the engagement ring. He still had doubts but this was time. The adventure they're about to face was going to be tough and life-threatening and if Nicole thought that no-one cared about her, she could submit to death. He wasn't going to let that happen. He stepped out of the washroom, with his hand behind his back. He faced her and stood on one knee. He lifted the engagement ring box upto her.
"Nicole, would you marry me?" he asked, nervous about her answer.

 

Nicole looked at him surprised. She didn't know what to say. She blinked a few times to see if it was real. She looked at him. She went to speak but nothing came out. She looked at him then saw in teh doorway chip, Dale, Queen Minnie, and King Mickey. Nicole looked back at Harone.

"I really don't know what to say... the only answer that's coming to me is yes." She told him. She looked at him. She looked him in teh eye and nodded with confidence of a sure yes. Chip and Dale jumped up and down.

"We need to inform everyone in the castle!" They both said. Queen Minnie smiled and looked at Mickey expecting him to say something.

 

Harone looked at Queen Minnie and King Mickey.
"We have to find the princesses of heart"
Mickey nodded and Minnie giggled happily as she walked out of the gummi ship. Harone sat on the driver's seat with an extremely happy look on his face but it was time for business.
"We have to find the princesses of heart"
He turned to Nicole and placed the ring on her finger, with gentle precision and then turned back towards the window. He started the engine and they started to glide up.
"This is how much I care about you, Nicole and I don't want anything to happen to you. I love you"

 

Nicole looked at him. She smiled then looked at the ring. She looked at him.

"I love you too." Nicole told him. She sat down was looking at the ring that shined proudly on her finger, she was glad it was there as well.

"So what sort of danger do you think we'll face and will come our way?" Nicole asked him. She was asking that question for either their journey, life togeather, or even both. She looked at him.

 

"We'll probably face alot of hard battles against Vanquish but I have a feeling after this, we'd be able to have a wonderful life together...perhaps we could live in Destiny Islands. After this, I'll marry you and I have a feeling, we'd be able to live a peaceful life after that"
He kissed her on the cheek and held her hand, rolling his thumb around her palm. He cared deeply for her and he now that they were together, nothing would go wrong. The gummi ship zoomed up in space and they were now flying through the ocean of stars.
"So, can you sense a princess of heart?"

 

They went and were getting close to the land of the dragons.

"What's the closes world to us, I feel a princess there, in trouble, I also feel Vanguish." Nicole said her eyes closed. She open them and looked on the monitor to see they were near land of the dragons.

"There." She said pointing on teh map. "Land of the Dragons, I wonder, maybe it's mulan, she's an important figure on that world." Nicole told him.

 

Symm rubbed the back of his neck, slightly embarrassed.

"Riiight. Well then, I suppose it's no mere coincidence that I just happen to be hired by the mouse who's in league with you guys, am I right?"
