I kinda agree with Kupo technically, but there's medicine that makes pple be allergic to them though.

I mean, you know. Medicine overall. Like the breakthroughs and stuff.
Stem Cells, Cloning, and things like that.

I was reading on an article about a girl who died from a small illness because her family refuse to get medicine or medical help. Saying that they don't trust it and they rely on spiritual healing.

I mean, Medicine is going to be my life and I love it. Cutting open human being and seeing what a real heart look like is amazing. It is nothing like you see on tv.

    yes.

Also when will 'plastic' medicine go to a next level? Im waiting for them to be able to change eye colour, alter height and prevent aging

  8. I agree with cloning organs and vegetables and stuff. I'm not to fond of human cloning. Human cloning should be done for the right the reasons.

I support the use of human stem cells being used because they are more succesful than embryonic stem cells and it wont kill the embryo.

If I had cancer and a doctor said that there was a cure for it but it invovled using embryonic stem cells, I would not accept the cure. I would rather die an innocent man than live as a murderer.

I prefer to age. There is no reason to live forever. Getting older is a part of life. To skip out on an aspect of life is kinda stupid.

And after thinking many times about living forever, it seems kind of childish to me to want to live forever.

I agree with Desert. You can't buy alcohol!!!! >.<. When I turn 21, 21 one Shots, all around.

Well, I don't agree with Plastic Medicine. People are too self centered and conciented that they only think about themselves, and you are beautiful no matter what.

I'm for medicine at the sametime I'm not, if we go with more medicines then humans wouldn't die or anything except of old age meaning we'd end up over populating the world, destroying the world, and basicly kill everyone that way. Plus there's a chance we could create a cure for every disease and a vaccine for every virus, the virus or bacteria disease can possibly mutate and become immuned to the cure and become more deadly.

There's a good and bad point that will happen if that happen. The good point is you will not take off for works, which get more bonus. And you won't worried about HIV.

The bad point is, peoples would start keep doing things that would eventually cause dangerous disease, but not become their problem anymore. Like Drugging with needles, Unprotected Sex, Unprotected Intercourse.

So if you think i'm selfish, but i think we need disease sorta to make a sign for more careful to living our life.

And i'm sorta agree with Yukou, Plastic Surgery only costing moneys. Its not about beauty, its about what inside their hearts. ^^

I think people need to stop doing what's fun and do what is safe. Not having sex before marriage and marrying another virgin = 0% chance of getting an STD. So it's better to wait until marriage to havesex because it's safer. I don't care if it's not as fun, it's better that way.

I really don't care about drinking just to party, I find it to be foolish and uncivilized. I prefer red wine at a civilized party. Peraps a beer at a football game but getting drunk leads to unprotected sex, car accidents, and even death. So why get drunk and increase your chance of dying? That sounds illogical.

Because life is short, and you need to do what you feel is best. And some people refuse to live by statistics.

Know whose life is short? A fetus whose embryo is used for embryonic stem cell research (har har). Here's some statistics for you: (embryonic) stem cell research has a 100% fatality rate. This feel-good society's outlook on things...the fact that people 'think' they have the right to do this or that...it's what inevitably, will lead to the destruction of our humanity. The destruction of our notion of family, the destruction of Altruism. Why is it that we cannot put a person in a bucket of freezing water to test the effects of hypothermia (WWII), nor can we turn a person into soap (also WWII, Nuremberg Trials), but we can turn a person into a liver?

But no, this isn't exactly an abortion debate...it's a debate on the pro's and con's of medicine.

Medicine is a beautiful mistress. Ethics are a pain in the ass. I opted not to become a doctor because I felt it would compromise my morals too much in this day and age.

Instead, I'll grow up to be a loner surrounded by math books. Here here for Academia and solitude!
