Siddartha and Jesus were both living people at some point. Neither one was a fake person. Besides, we've moved on to Obama's first one hundred days and his expectations for this country to recover, there is no need to get petty when he at least made an attempt at a reconciliation, if you would like to discuss it there is a religion topic or the PM system, please take it there, we JUST moved past this. Anyway, I agree with twisted mage. Obama needs to calm down, understand the situations exactly, determine which is of the greatest importance, and work his way down.

  2. I am not going to fight you but you said government aid. In a democracy the government does not aid companies. You want socialism. I believe that Obama wants socialism. That's my political reason that I do not want him to succeed. I don't want the governments help, that's not what our founding fathers want. You have to make your own succees not the government and the stimulus package is going to put us in a 10 trillion dollar debt. You and me and all of us will have to pay for his mistake.

Again though I am tired of fighting you. I am just going to pray for you and Zenrot. I hope you all do accept christ as your savior.

So what if Obama is a Liberal. I dont think that has anything to do with what he and his admistration can do. I am proud to say that i voted for Obama, but only under 1 reasson. Everytime we had a Republican President, the country went into poverty. And then when a Democrat takes office after a Republican, the county is always either completely out of being in poverty or we are almost out of being in poverty by the end of their first term. I also agree with the choices he made for congress, have both Democrats and Republicans. Both parties have ideas that really help this country. And i believe that Obama will use ideas from both parties to rebuild this nation.

We already in debt and the fact is that other countries owe us money too. It is not we owe them. America is the glue between all the countries in the world. With out us and with out our help things will crumble. People will compete to see who could dominate which smaller countries.

P.S. Thanks for the prayer but save it for someone who really needs it.

I don't 100 percent agree that he is socialist. The government doesnt aid companies NORMALLY, but in order to keep the American economy flowing, the companies need to survive, so the government must support them for the good of the nation. Our founding fathers DID want the government to help, what they didn't want was a dictator king. No country can succeed with no government aid at all. We are already in an intense debt, beyond intense actually. China basically owns us. The stimulus package was, in theory, a good idea. But we can all see how it honestly hasnt worked. He has his goals in the right place, but the man needs to pay more attention to his advisors, because although the country is for the people, on matters like this it should be the people who are qualified to make a statement.

  6. I agree with you to an extent. I don't think the government needs to help companies. The companies made bad desicions so they need to go bankrupt so that later they can rebuild to be better.

We need to get people working so they can spend money to put into the economy wich will then go into schools, hospitals, ect. This will over a about a decade will fix the economy. Obama's stimulus money had to be printed and the more money there is printed the less value it has. This causes infaltion which leads to a country going bankrupt.

That is why I did not want Obama getting elected. His econmic plan has been proven to failed. Why use a plan that is proven to fail?

Well while we do need to get the people working, we need the companies in order to get them to work. His stimulus package was entirely based on Roosevelts new deal, which was given the hype for fixing the great depression, when in reality it was WW2 that saved the economy. What we need is to start marketing to foreign countries, get our production rates up, and start SELLING. You need to spend money to make money.

  8. I agree that we need to be a producer to the world so they can buy our products. I also agree to spending money for certain things. I just don't want Obama to think they he can spend our way out of the crisis. He needs to cut taxes on small bussiness owners and force people to work. I'm not talking about slavery but I think the best way to put it is like with this phrase:

"If you want to eat then you have to work for your food."

We need to get rid of wellfare and make a statment to people, "If you want money, if you want to be succesful then you have to work."

With more people getting jobs they get more money. They spend this money and their taxes go to hospitals, schools, our defense, and other stuff. This keeps us prepared for anything. It's like a circle. We get people working and they spend money which goes to help people who are sick get back to work and to teach kids which ensures our future.

Yes, but cutting welfare wouldnt work. Jobs are all private industries, they cannot be FORCED to hire anyone, and most people who rely on welfare arent exactly model employees. If an employee doesnt want to work, his output will suffer greatly.

  10. People can get small jobs. Mowing lawns, panting, ect. Surely they can do that.

We need to make it easier for comapnies to hire people but there needs to be some rules. A C.E.O should do what is best for his company.

Ok. there is one problem with this statement. For example: I want to work, in fact i like working because it keeps me busy and out of trouble. but at this current time it is very hard for someone to get a job. especialy when a lot of companies and bussiness' are going out of bussiness. therefore more and more people are needing welfare, and family aide agencies. Everybody is having a hard time with money. that is why companies are not hiring as much as they used to. So if u take away welfare and do not give food to someone who doesnt have a job, all ur doing is forcing them to commit a crime for food and or money.

I do agree with Twilight (scary) that we have to get rid of wel-fare. It is making people lazy. Even though I sound like a hypocrite, because my family raise me in wel-fare when I was young, but they got out before it corrupted them.

    We need new guild lines.

i dont htink we should totally get rid of welfare. we should just give it to those who really need it. for example, when i was growing up i lived with my grandmother, she had a stroke and a hernia surgery, and when she applied for welfare they denied her. she wasnt able to collect retirement, and she was denied for a disability check. most of the people on it have jobs, and a ton of kids. the only reason they have all these kids is to collect a lot of money from welfare. the qualifications should be more strict.

  14. I agree that some people need disability welfare. But they hav an excuse for not working because they are either physicaly or mentaly unable to.

But someone who des not need welfare should not have it. If we make it easier for business to hire people and make sure that businesses are hiring people then the economy will fix itself over time. The government only needs to worry about making it easier for businesses to hire people.

i totally agree with that. one thing that welfare should do is give the person who is recieving welfare a few months to find a job, or they will loose thier checks. and when they find a job, they should stop the checks then too. they should do exactly what Unemployment services do. they send u checks for 6 months then stop.

  16. Exactly.

I'm just worried that Obama wont do that.

i dont know if he will do exactly that. but i have confidence that he will make it easier to get jobs, and make it harder for people to get welfare for ones who dont really need it

  18. I doubt it. I think he wants the government to control everything. He just so darn stupid sometimes.

He calls the oneswho caused 9/11 "enemy combatants" yet he calls anyone who is against abortion, gay marriage, or for the war Terrorist.

In other words if you disagree with Obama your terrorist. He is calling me a terrorist, yet he says Bin Laden is not a terrorist.

We don't need a guy like that for president.

i dont agree with what he says. the only reason i voted for him was because every time we have a Democrat in office. we have a lot more prosperity than when a Republican is in office

  20. Look at Ronald Regan. He was a republican and we were at our best in many years. Regan was one of the best presidents we ever had and he was the tue conservitive.

Remember the Clinton years were different than today. Oil was not as high and there was no war but this war and this economy and the oil prices could have been prevented if Clinton would have taken the time to do it.

Don't blame Bush for all of it. Part of it is Clinton's fault.
