Uh. I forgot the name of the book that I had read at the library two months ago. I think it was "The Secret of the Samurai" but I think it's not the title of the book.

    yeah.
What does it say in that book summonerbrandon? Anything interesting?

  7. I don't really think that reading a book on martial arts will help you master it. I think that it can help you stay on top of certain things, but other than that, not good for training.

I forgot, but it has a lot of history to it & how to master it. I first need to get me a library card so I can reread it. It do have a lot of interesting things, -_-_- but what I really hate about it is a suicidal ritual.

  9. No, no, no, you can never ever master a technique through a book man. It'll never happen.

I didn't want to master an art through a book. It tells you how to do it, but taht's in 2D form & you'll look ugly trying to do it. ??? Everytime when I'm on one of these threads, an ad is related to the thread. Anyways, it tells & "teaches" you about the arts & a whole lot more.

I know, but its cool to learn the history and stuff. I'm not saying I just read books, I just do that in my free time. I spar all the time, practice makes perfect. You can never master anything by reading a book. I know this all to well.
But thats not to say you cant learn anything from the book, that statement is foolish.
