Nomura said that the keyblades in the trailers were just filler.Its like fighting Xemnas or Terra in KH and KH2 respectively,its just there,but didnt really happen.The fight there did though

 

yea like i said?, the first part of the trailer, the one before we saw there faces was not canon(meaning has nothing to do with the story), the second part of it (when TAV gets there butts handed to them by MX and DS) could be canon, im unsure. but the keyblades werent in them

 

i believe i know the answer 2 this: the reason that TAV's keyblades r keychainless is because they r what ive heard r called ORIGINAL keyblades

Despite all of these true facts and theories, you have to admit that wathcing the war in KH2 and seeing Cloud with his BusterSword and Leon with his Gunblade beating up thousands of heartless and nobodies was pretty awesome. And without all of these side characters with their random weapons, we wouldn't enjoy KH as much as we all do. So I think that Square Enix had to put in the part about Sora's heart and power making everyone else powerful.

 

Wrong, because MX and DS have keychains. so your ORIGINAL keyblade, is a good theory but i think wrong.

MX and DS keyblades contain keychains, TAV'S don't.

MX and DS seem to fight at a Master Level

While TAV seems to fight on a lower level, since they are all Keyblade Apperntices.

So my observation would be that, When you fully master the keyblade, or atleast become a Master, then your keyblade gains a keychian

but while your still an apperntice your keyblade is keychainless.

I bet when we see TAV's master, then we probably would see a keychain hanging somewhere

Mickeys Keyblade Inverese Kingdom Key comes from the Realm Of Darkness..no one made it or if someone did it wasn't ATW

Actually..they aren't random weapons..nomura gave them all the weapons because they all have a meaning or story behind them >.>. like clouds buster sword, and leon's Gunblade...

and im sure that the story of sora searching for his friends..not involving FF characters would still attract me..
because the main story has nothing to do with FF characters..the War wasn't even a war, it was more like a trap for sora..

 

while that is a nice explanation, u 4got 1 thing, i dont know what DS stands 4 but if ur talking about the guy that was w/MX when they fought TAV in the secret ending, that guy is Master Xehanort's APPRENTICE

We know TAV are apperentices look at the heart shape symbols they each have, They could be badges of some sort. Plus they have a Master.

Look at how they fought in the ending if you wanna base it off that, MX took on ALL THREE OF THEM WITH ONE HAND BEHIND HIS BACK NOT EVEN BREAKIN A SWEAT. As Well As DS fooling around with them. FIGHTING AT A MASTER LEVEL


But the secret ending isn't canon, dude do research before testing me. cause ill prove you wrong every single time, without a doubt.

Your correct and wrong at the same time.
Sora was never an apperentice, hes a Keyblade Master

and first of all It wasn't sora's, it was Riku's Keyblade.

We come to believe that Terra thought or chose Riku to be a good keyblade weilder(hence at Terra going to Destiny Island and Riku seeing the Keyhole when he was 5). So the keyblade was already with riku, meaning Riku was already a suitable weilder of the keyblade.

My guess is that the Keyblade already saw Riku strong enought to bring out its full potential. giving it a keychain. When sora took it back from Riku, the keyblade then saw sora as someone who could bring its true power out giving it a keychain

You also gotta remember Sora and Riku never had MASTERS, they just did it as they went. They were keyblade masters from the start. Not keyblade apperentices like TAV

This I agree with... sort of... What I was implying was that the game-enjoyment-level ( ) wouldn't be as fantastic as it is if the only person who was able to defeat heartless/nobodies was a keyblade weilder. There wouldn't be as much action and I don't see the point in having Donald and Goofy following Sora around trying to protect him if they don't have the ability to destroy heartless/nobodies.

Yes, it was a trap but it sorta ended up as a quick war/battle in the end.
