Dark sora

Sora's anti-form is due to his turning into a shadow, basically, im sure nomura confrimed that on in the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania guide. so basically, think of it as a super dooper powered shadow

 

DISCLAIMER WARNING: This is my oppinion.

I think that Anti-Form is basically all the negative energy that forms when Sora goes into Valor and Wisdom forms. And that Master Form has no negative energy, and that Final Form is such a pure light form that it removes negative energy.

I say this because there is that invisible Drive meter that changes when you go into one of the four forms. Valor and Wisdom forms adds one point to the invisible drive meter (And as such, the chance of going into Anti-Form increases whenever you go into Valor Form or Wisdom Form). Master Form does nothing to the meter, but you can still go into Anti-Form. And Final Form removes 15 points from the invisible drive meter whenever you go into Final Form (And as such, you can never go into Anti-Form if you go into Final Form).

And as a final note, Anti-Form just looks cool. There is no advantage to it. You can't pick up health orbs. The only way to get out of it is by letting the drive meter go down to zero. You take more damage than you normally would. You deal less damage than you normally would.

 

First off, you can go into anti mode with the master form & you can get out of anti mode by going into a different area or by (Hopefullly. Never did try it.) go to a save point & go to gummi space. I went into anti form a couple of times with the master form & that's why I included in there.

Roxas, I think, has nothing to do with sora & the anti form. Remember that Roxas went into the realm of light instead of the darkness, especially Namine.

Also, Final form reduces because of the simple reason that, its a NOBODY form ...if you haven't noticed the symbols on soras clothes when he goes final..anyway..its a nobody form the opposite of heartless or anti-form, it has nothing to do with the pure light or whatever xD, i( note that, antiform is basically the heartless drive form, except you cant choose it, so)..

Well roxas does have something to do with it, seeing on how when sora turned into a a shadow, Roxas was born, so if roxas was never born, then sora wouldn't have turned into a shadow, and would never have antiform ..>.> or sora could have skipped the part of him rescuing kairi and stabbing himself

I said you can go into Anti-Form through Master Form. I just said that Master Form won't increase the odds of you going into Anti-Form. Valor and Wisdom forms will increase the odds though.

It isn't a nobody form. In Yen Sid's tower, there are those mirrors that are covered up. When you examine them, they each say something different. One mirror says something along the lines of 'Unleashing the Keyblade's true power.' That is referring to Final Form. I've seen the symbols on Sora's Final Form outfit. They don't look like the Nobody symbol.

I think the reason why Sora goes into Anti-Form is all just theory. Like I said, I think it's just the negative energy that's formed. Since there has never been given an explanation to why Anti-Form exists and stuff (Unless you've heard it, then please give me a link to your info or something), then we can't say there is a definant cause.

I meant the colors, are nobody not the symbols , but anyway actually i wasn't trying to say it was a nobody form i was getting at you could look at it as a nobody form, because the power lke u said is the the keyblades true power, but this is only done after fighting roxas in TWTNW, sora is at full strength and is able to use the keyblades full power i guess this can back up your roxas isn't compelty merged till the end of KH2 thingy

No its not theory, its been confrimed that Sora goes in to Anti-Form, because he truned into a heartless ..i kinda said that already..

Never Ever use a drive form except for Final form when against a member of the organisation. Never!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Esspacially against Xalden. Bad idea. Risk it if you want.

 

Okay. Reading from that site, I read that they confirmed both things. Story line, Anti-Form is the heartless (For those who didn't read the site). And it's formed from all the bad energy caused by the other drives.

There is a problem with that. To get Final Form, you have to activate another drive and hope you're given Final Form. I find it best to do it against Xigbar. Out of the remaining Organization members, he is the best option to use Final Form against. Luxord is a one-on-one battle, so you can't get Final Form. And Saix requires to be hit with his weapon to be hurt, so you don't have a big window to damage him alot with Final Form. And Xemnas obviously is too late to not have Final Form.

Story-wise, yes. Drives are very strong so anti-form exists as a side-effect of using too much power. System-wise, I wanted to create something strong but troublesome.


meaning, for the Story yes anti form is because sora turned into a shadow, for SYSTEM WISE or game play wise, He just wanted to give us gamers a challenge,

a form where we take up more damage, can't hill and deal little damage, its random so we don't know when to expect it or what do do in the situation..he says nothing about that energy thing you think it is...its because he is Nomura and he likes to mess with us nothing about energy

 

Isn't negative energy a side effect of power? Well technically, I suppose it's based on what people believe. Oh well. In all honesty, it doesn't really matter what the explanation of the cause of Anti-Form is.

and second, i doubt anti form will have a MAJOR impact in the story...seeing how he didn't bother to explain..what it was in the game, and he just told us the explination

 

Yes. There are several mirrors (I think five in the regular KH2). Each one talking about one of Sora's forms, including Anti-Form.
