Hello fellow kh posters. I would like to post a thread about the peoples weapons in the game.

Now we no that the only way to beat up a heartless or nobady was a keyblade. But for some reson, anybody else can beat up a heartless and nobody with out a keyblade. I don't understand this cause goofy can have a regular sheild and donld can have a magic staff and beat up heartless. The FF people have regular swords and blades but they beat up heratless everyday. Simba can use his teeth and claws just like beast and beat up heatless.

So how come sora could'nt hurt them with a wooden sword, I no it sounds stuiped, but the sword went right through them when ever you hit them. But jacks sparows gun can hurt it. or a power disk from Tron. That's just not right. Cids spear, wooden spear hurt a heartless.

So my thing is why do heartless get hurt with out the use of a keyblade?

Well if they can only be stopped by the keyblade then they would be unstoppable wouldnt they.

Well see what it is I figured this out along time ago, Leon and the otehrs couldn't beat a heartless up until they befirend/ met Sora same with Donald and Goofy, at first they were blasted off the building it wasn't till they met Sora and became a team did they beat up the heartlesses.

So it's the heart of the keyblade, not the weapon itself.

Basicly. That's what I've come to. It's not even the keyblade, but the keyblade weilder's heart, remeber in the one battle with Riku.

"My heart may be weak, and sometimes it may even go out, but I learned deep down there's a light that never goes out." It's more of the light in the heart of the keyblade weilder giving their weapons some light to fight the heartless.

I agree with Star. The Keyblade bearer's heart makes people who around him could beat heartless and nobodies.

But Nobodies who makes me weird. In The World That Never Was, before Sora fight against Roxas, Donald and Goofy were surrounded by Samurai Nobodies. And Sora teleported to Station of Awakening (i don't know what it is) right? Why Goofy and Donald still could beat them?

Beacause Sora had them in his heart, they were friends, so they could fight them.

Yep. I agree with this & another reason that they can defeat the heartless is that they accepted light.

In 358/2 days, you will see all members of organization XIII could beat heartless. If you thought that Darkness can't beat heartless, you wrong

I beleive that anybody can beat up a heartless, but only a keyblade can take the heart back from the heartless. I guess, there is some flaws there. And in Hallow Bastion sora could beat up heartless with a wooden sword.

You is quite wrong about that one. If you pay close attention, if you see donald, goofy, or any one of the allies defeats a heartless, the hearts will still be set free.

well this is confusing cause when dould and goofy frist fought a heartless they lost. but when they meant sora they beat them up. I think it's becasue sora's keyblade, gives anybody he meets the power to fight heartless. but really the creators just made it like that so it's nothing we should be stressing bout.

when a keybearer defeats a heartless, the heart is set free & goes back 2 kingdom hearts, but when any1 else defeats 1, the heart is staved off, traveling 2 another world, or staying on the world but returning after some time......
    thats my theory anyway :D

i agree with that, becasue when xemens was making keingdom hearts, sora was afaird to fight the heartless casue he would send them to xemens thing.

No, its actually not, because in KH2, the organization needed the KEYBLADE to free the hearts, and second, its you are quite wrong, not you is quite wrong. Sorry it was bugging me.

It is wierd and was never fully explained.Maybe Sora couldnt beat them at first because his heart wasnt that strong until he got the keyblade, but that wouldnt explain how Nobodys can kill them unless you believe in the "shadow heart" theory.Maybe if you have a strong heart you can kill heartless, and if you dont but are near a keyblader you can also do damage. The only thing I know for sure is that you need a keyblade to completly destroy the heartless.
