The most important question you will hear for years... When should KH retire?!?!?!

I think they should wrap it up. I've got this feeling that the games will start to get worse and worse from thousands of plot twists they'd add if they never ended it.

Yeah, they should end up soon enough, like now when the games are still awesome, not to wait till they get bad. So I agree with DW.

 

Well, at first I thought so. "KH? End? Never!" xDD But then I started to think and I guess it's best to end before it gets bad. ;D

Yeah they will probably end it after KH3 and tie everything up there. Honestly it is a good game but if they go on to much more its gonna get old.

 

I think it should end to, although it would kinda suck, but everyone is already making theories and really confused about all the plot twists that happen in the past, and then things changing in the present, and then going back into the past, then to the future and more weird Time paradoxes lol..sorry. Then it's like, what do the keyblades do, and we have to look in the past and make observations in the present and then new people that come in the story. so yeaahh.. heh heh

 

I don't want the series to keep going on forever but I want a great ending to Kingdom Hearts

The problem is though, Kingdom Hearts is partly owned by Disney, a company which likes to squeeze every last profitable amount of money, a franchise can gain.

 

Yes but seeing as it is MADE by square, they get the say when to stop making it, because disney doesn't own square.

 

Plus Disney, likes continuing "some" Disney movies and stories. Since they're a good inspiration for children and adults, and it's really popular.

 

Well I hate to think of the day KH comes to an end, not only because I don't want the game to end, but also because forums like this one would most likely die. If would suggest making it sort of FFish by making a lot of games, but with totally unrelated storylines so that you don't have to mess it up with numerous pot twists and boredom of the characters. Sort of like how their introducing the new characters of BBS, while still having the element of KH.

 

Kingdom Hearts should end at KH3 because 1) There are not many Disney films to exploit on but I would like to see a Dragon Quest or Spira world. 2) The keyblades and heartless formula would become stale. 3) We do not want Kingdom Hearts, one of our favourite franchises to be a broken record, like Final Fantasy (XII sucked)

 

Yes that is true; but BBS, even though it has different characters, still follows the main KH story line.

Expecially since Nomura's not making any more Final Fantasy games and focussing more on Kingdom Hearts.

Answer to that is Yes, because KH2 was garbage/disappointing, so they have to give us KH3 and make it great. But if KH3 is good, and they make a KH4, and that is trash, then everyone would be let down and KH5 will probably appear . KH3 will be the last,
