Why do you laugh? There isn't really anything to find funny.

And I was explaining their belief system. What they believe happens. Reguardless of what's real or not. You believe what you want to believe, everybody else will believe what they want to believe.

And I said it's crazy because I was agreeing with you.

  2. No, Priest and Prophets are totally different things thank you very much.

oh, thanks for agreeing with me D.W.
But I know the belief system quite well. No need to explain. I just find it very hypocritical to ask a man for forgiveness, knowing he's a man and common sense tells us he has no power compared to God. And god didnt grant him any power what so ever. Thats all I'm sayin broski.

  4. Well, that's the key word, ask. He's not being a confident a-hole telling God to say, "I forgive you." He's only asking him. . .so, yeah, ahem.

But he acts like a middle man inbetween god and the person confessing. That middle man keeps us farther from god. Religion is all about a human beings connection with god. I believe that the "middle man" is like pure evil. Because he leads the human astray, because he himself is immoral and corrupt. He is nothing, he isnt god, he isnt some greater human. Most priests I've talked to dont know anything either. I know way more then them. Its ridiculous that they dont even know a ton about religion when their whole life is supposed to be a bout it. It pisses me off.

  6. Well, in the Catholic faith, the God we worship is for the most part, a distant God in some cases. Priest, who are chosen by God, are his little. . . .it's not the best word, but like his pawns. The higher levels are like the Knights, Rooks, and Bishops.

they act as if THEY are gods though. Thats what pisses me off. They are his servants, but they act the least like it truly.

  8. No, they don't act as if they're gods.

yes, they do. They act like they are of some importance, and life revolves around them. Haven't you had to deal with these people before?

I have, and I've never met a priest who was like that. I'm sure some exist, but Catholic priests don't believe they are better than God. It's the first Commandment. God is the most powerful being in existance.

Catholic priests are very friendly and if they don't know something they will admit it, they don't act all high and might and they state that there purpose is to preach about God and offer advice, not act as a middle man.

  12. Thank You Good Sir. . .

Yes, you took the words right out of me.

your all "lucky". They do exist. Don't deny there existence. And your knowledge of religion compared to my own may be way different, so my 'annoyance' of these people may be way higher than your own. When you figure things out about everything, you learn to hate everything more and more. Like I've said before...."The truth is ugly"

  14. Yes, and I've embraced and accepted it, not whine about it.

there is a difference between hate and 'whining' pal. And you my friend are 'whining' about the truth. You've haven't accepted anything. You cant accept anything you don't know of.

  16. You really think that? I accpet that life is a total bish. If you ask me, I hardly even follow the Catholic faith.

Its just your inner kid showing....wanting to be a rebel.....wanting to be different. But theres a big difference between being different, and being a poser. This is also why I hate wiggers (biggest group of posers in the world).
So if you want to proove to me that your "a rebel", then tell me what you understand about my religion, go do some studying online and learn something. If not, you proove me more right. But why do it? To you I'm just a boy inside your box of light your looking at. I am nothing. So dont take my opinion to seriously

    (sorry for double posting...)
Continued from UFO thread, As for your last post on that thread Desert, there were no "popes" back then.....duh.
There was JUDAISM. Jesus claimed to be their Messiah, but many of the Jews denied him as their King of Kings and Lord of Lords because he wasn't the "warrior" type of God they'd expected.

I know that the Jews didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah. But also, Jesus's disiple Paul was the first pope. Jesus had made Paul be the first pope.

He wasn't a POPE! He was nothing!! He was another manic depressive nut who thought he saw a flaming cross!! He was a radical Christian who "appointed" himself to be another apostle. Thats like if I all of a sudden said I was a Congressman. Would you believe me? NO! He was full of it, Paul is the biggest Christian joke of all time, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
