I-spy

Sky looked around at the new faces; she could tell that she belonged here. Although she wasn't an official member, she was still a member and that seemed to please her. She had known Tyreik for a quite a while now but the others were complete strangers.
“Welcome to all,” she softly whispered not knowing she was repeating Alex’s speech. It gave her a new unknown sensation inside of her, one which felt warm, and one which she rather liked a lot. She had never been welcomed or wanted; living in a foster home had crushed all hopes of emotional attachment with others. Unaware of her own facial expressions she couldn’t help but smile at Alex.

 

Sky still smiling noticed Alex approach her; she quickly ended her smile and began to panic. He held out his hand, Sky not knowing whether to shake it or hold it.
“My names Sky… but of course you knew that… silly me.” Her cheeks had began to change to a rosy red while she couldn’t help blush. She quickly looked to her left her eyes scanning the room, searching for something that would divert Alex’s attention off her.
“So nice weather we’re having, huh?”
It was the best she could do for now…

 

The words ‘as a friend’ kept repeating inside Sky’s head. Maybe it was a side effect to Alex’s speeches? Whatever effect Alex had on her, she liked it.
“Thank you, and I’m fine really.” Sky didn’t want the conversation with Alex to end, yet she couldn’t think of any decent topic to talk about. “So new members aye? Strange looking bunch much,” she laugh. “Sorry… it sounded funnier in my head.” Slightly embarrassed again Sky slowly began to distance herself from Alex.

 

Nicky crossed her arms.

"You realise I'm standing right here. So how have you been Alex?" Nicky said looking at him.

"Oh and like Alex said, your ok with me, I'm Nicky, so hey." Nicky said then returned her attention to Alex.

"So what is your plan anyways?" Nicky asked crossing her arms again.

 

Sky felt a slight awkwardness not knowing what to say whilst in the presence of Nicky and Alex. But then again she was never good with words to begin with.
She stared at Nicky who was just a few inches away, “great” she mumbled sarcastically. From what Sky could see Nicky was just perfect, a jolt of jealousy began to arise within her.
“Hi, I’m Sky,” Sky erased all signs of dislike from her face and promptly replaced it with a sweet smile.

 

"I'm Tom." He said, walking up to them. He held out his hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet ya." While he had been doing this, he had quickly been glancing around everywhere to get familiar with his surroundings.

 

"Sky" Tyreik called to her

He walk with a slouched back and a guitar case.

"Sorry to interup" He said nodding to everyone

"Sky can you help me with something please?" He said taping her shoulder and walking away from the group.

 

Sky watched Tyreik with her blank face as usual.

“Help? … Sure” She walked away following Tyreik but constantly glancing back at Alex. Alex was talking to the other members about something, she was slightly curious.

“So what can I help you with?” She stared at Tyreik’s guitar case. Walking beside him she could see the height difference, she wasn’t short but when compared to Tyreik she was.

 

"I realise that, but we're friends." Nicky whispered in his ear as well. It was unlike Alex to keep things away from her. She didn't care though. She looked at Tom.

"It's nice to meet you Tom." Nicky said extending her hand out for a hand shake.

 

"Oh, well don't worry, besides you won't go wrong where Adam did." Nicky whispered back. "But if you do need any help let me know." She said allowed signaling to them both that she would help with something.

 

"Nice to meet you too." Tom said, shaking her hand. "And what is your name? Sorry if I didn't hear you if you did say it."

 

"Oh it's Nicky." Nicky said.

"So I get this is meet and talk with everyone, but umm what else we supose to do?" Nicky asked Alex looking over at him. She smiled. She saw that Alex was looking at Sky.

"She seems like a nice girl. A bit shy, but I see a somewhat friendly side." Nicky said to him looking over at her.
